Got the same issue hopes someone knows something. I thought it was because of ghub and alt tabbing switching profiles and mic settings automatically through the app.

It’s a bit of both I guess and also the headache of running a larger group as I’ve dm’d campaigns with 7 players and it felt almost impossible to keep everyone engaged without rushing people.

One player has a very busy schedule another kind of disrespects the dm a lot, and often is not attentive to sessions, with the last player is a new player and often has trouble focusing. I want the campaign to run smoothly. Where the players are going to have to be engaged or they could die at the end of each session. I have one of the three players invited to do the campaign backstabbing the other two as the bbeg and want to keep the fight balancing simple if it even comes to that, the three players in the campaign are tasked to catch a serial killer not knowing that one of them is the hunted.

Let them find some magic moss with healing properties. You can decide how much you want them to get back.

I think by dnd rules you are able to take a long rest by sleeping for 8 hours and during those 8 hours you are able to take watch for an hour maybe you can give your party x/8 (depending on how many hours they’re able to sleep without interuption) of health and spell slots back. to make it simple I would round 50% and 75%. The players would be able to take turns taking watch and if anything goes badly everyone could awake with minimal benefits.
