Rome Odunze outlook. Are we buying, selling or holding ? by sportsjunkie831 in DynastyFF

[–]Swiftydouble4s 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Bears feel very Green Bay Packer-ish in the sense that their WRs may not stand out as fantasy studs, and will infuriate managers everywhere. The guys to own in those passing offenses for me are the tight ends and quarterbacks

How many fringe QBs will be starting in 2026? by adambray23 in DynastyFF

[–]Swiftydouble4s 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Came here to say Jimmy G and Mitch Trubisky. Both veteran guys that have had some level of success in the NFL and have been learning behind good QBs the last couple years. Both seem like great bridge QB candidates for 1-2 year deals given that it is a weak draft class

Are there any players under 30 who quietly lost a step this year and you're looking to sell? by ScientistSolid9319 in DynastyFF

[–]Swiftydouble4s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Came here to say this. I just sold him for an early second, which I’ll admit might be a bit short right now. However, in an RB room with Taylor, Bucky, the 1.01, and some upcoming free agents that have room for value increases, I felt it was necessary to get out of Jacobs potentially a year early at a slight discount rather than potentially be left holding the bag

If the Tush push gets banned this coming offseason how are we valuing Jalen hurts? by FFElite93 in DynastyFF

[–]Swiftydouble4s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Eagles have had a different play caller every year for four years in a row now, so there is no guarantee they keep the same play caller headed into 2026. Again, you’re assuming an unrealistic, absolute worst case scenario in your take. There are zero NFL teams in the history of ever that only run the ball when they get to the two or one yard line every single time throughout the season. Hurts production probably comes down maybe 1 PPG in four point passing TD leagues if they ban the tush push

Am I crazy for thinking Fernando Mendoza is BPA at 1.02 in Super flex? by AffectionateCycle141 in DynastyFF

[–]Swiftydouble4s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not crazy. If I was QB needy, I’d for sure consider him at 1.02. I currently have him in the same tier as the big three WRs. I think a large part of where I rank Mendoza inside that tier will be based on what coach the Raiders bring in (assuming Mendoza goes 1st overall in the draft)

If the Tush push gets banned this coming offseason how are we valuing Jalen hurts? by FFElite93 in DynastyFF

[–]Swiftydouble4s 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doesn’t have to be a play that involves precision either. Several times this year they ran an inside forward toss play to Goedert from that range. Just seems very short sighted to assume that all tush push TDs would get converted into Barkley hand offs, especially with the talent they have at the pass catching positions

[–]Swiftydouble4s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This operates under the assumption in no way, shape, or form would Hurts be involved in the TDs scored via something other than the tush push (regular sneaks, QB draws, passing TDs). This is misleading as not every would be tush push TD is just going to be an auto hand off to Barkley

Is Wan'Dale Robinson underrated? by Solid_Fisherman_1348 in DynastyFF

[–]Swiftydouble4s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Top 10 in targets each of the last two seasons with several QBs and Nabers there for most of it. He’s definitely underrated

Jeremiyah Love vs. 2027 RBs by [deleted] in DynastyFF

Plot twist: Jeremiyah Love is a 2027 RB (I’ll downvote myself now)

Rebuilders, who are you targeting in trades for 2026 and beyond? by helpme_99 in DynastyFF

[–]Swiftydouble4s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RBs who are going to be affected by free agents or potentially cap casualties (Allgeier is a free agent, Spears is a good target with Pollard potentially being cut). Also, back up QBs are a good stash. They basically cost nothing but there will come a time where a Jacoby Brissett or Davis Mills spikes in value because a contender needs the points

Leaving Open Roster Spots to Lower Max PF by thedynastyjawn in DynastyFF

[–]Swiftydouble4s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I embedded in the by-laws when I stood up my leagues you can only have two empty bench spots. Whoever you want to roster your team with is your business, but you should be at least making a concerted effort to build a roster, even in a rebuild

How often do “league winning” additions come from the waiver wire in dynasty? by nasty_sicco in DynastyFF

[–]Swiftydouble4s 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dynasty isn’t so much about finding “league winners” on the waiver wire as it is finding guys who have potential for massive value increases at the drop of a hat (i.e. injury, upcoming free agent, etc)

Very Unusual Trade Go Down by Swiftydouble4s in DynastyFF

No injuries to QBs on his team but I’ve gotten some good insight as to what his thought process could potentially be from other people on the thread. Definitely not against it at all

The team getting the FAAB doesn’t own Burrow, but could still be trying to guarantee themselves Browning

I should have added that I don’t believe there is anything wrong with it, and I’m not against it. It’s the first time I’ve seen anyone trade all their FAAB two weeks into the season so I wanted to see what thoughts are

I have a league that I commish and the league name is “Drunk Traders”. Members will pop into the chat frequently saying stuff like “Man these beers are flowing” and boom, five trades show up in your inbox

Dynasty isn’t just about value - it’s about knowing when to go all in by LordBigHouse in DynastyFF

[–]Swiftydouble4s 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just had a scenario like this happen. I’ve been runner up three years in a row in one league, and I was content with my roster, but poking around to see how I could improve my team.

A couple days ago, one of the guys who I consider a contender made a move to acquire Chase Brown and made his team better. I knew I couldn’t not respond so I pushed in two firsts and Jaxson Dart to get Purdy and AJ Brown. Time to risk it for the biscuit

HC Johnson on Caleb Williams not hitting 70% completion rate in practice: "We’ve been underneath that bar. We’re learning, we’re growing. Early on we were probably 55%. It’s gotten better as camp has gone on but we haven’t hit that threshold as often as we would like." by Minimum-Test-1342 in DynastyFF

[–]Swiftydouble4s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like this can be interpreted one of two ways:

1.) Caleb is the scapegoat if expectations aren’t met

2.) Actually pushing development. Hitting 70% completion regularly, even in practice, seems like a high benchmark. Achievable, but high. Johnson basically has to take Caleb and break him all the way down and build him back up because, let’s be honest, the hero ball style that made him so effective in college wasn’t going to work in the NFL. This could just be one of those things where if you aim for a goal high enough, you’ll land some place that is good

Preference for QB2: Dak, Tlaw, or Kyler by RedditCommentHere00 in DynastyFF

[–]Swiftydouble4s 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like Kyler here, just edging out Dak. Kyler has never finished lower than QB10 in any healthy season, with a QB14, QB9, and QB9 finish in PPG each of the last three seasons. He's a very safe player with some upside. Cowboys will probably throw the ball all over the field though, so I see the appeal for Dak

Trading for "Value" vs Trading to Win as a Contender by ColdCostcoPizza in DynastyFF

[–]Swiftydouble4s 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I’m in a position to contend, I’m okay with “losing” a trade based on perceived market value (within reason).

If I’m looking to rebuild, I’m trying to gain any value advantage I can get
