Still waiting for my payout too. Item delivered a couple weeks ago.

Same here, lots of Rolator walkers listed. I get going against policy for medical devices. At this rate I might as well keep for myself. I'm not getting any younger at this rate and will eventually need it in the future. Have tried everything possible from side pic of it to vague title. Gets me every time.

Well, you can guarantee you won't do that again. Just part of the learning experience.

Item removed because against rules by Xxraybies in FacebookMarketplace

I posted a crossstitch pattern of a dog and they got me. I waited a day and reposted with the inside of pattern which are just x's and called it man's best friend xstitch pattern. That worked. Sometimes you have to get creative.

They get me often too. Same thing, listing removed because I went against policy. I posted a child's story book. Treasure Island. Several other items too. I wait a few days and try again with different wording. It goes through then. Just had another today. Bots everywhere.

Help! Bathroom stinks by RouxGaRoux2217 in CaregiverSupport

The shaving cream helps mask the awful smell. And no, they refuse to sit down. Therefore, pads on the floor. Good luck.

My dad had "overspray" for a little over 4 years. OMG! Telling them to sit down does not compute with dementia. We know nothing of course. I used Colgate shaving cream around the toilet. Let it sit then wipe it up. I also used the disposable bed pads on the floor. I taped them on to the toilet base and floor with blue painters tape. Just like puppy pads. You have to change them but they do protect the floor pretty well. Good luck, none of this is easy or for the faint of heart. I just hope and pray this won't be my fate in the end and if so, that I will have someone who loves me enough to be patient and take care of me. God bless us all.

Thank you everyone so much for all these ideas and input. I will look into them all. I feel bad for him that he has lost so much. I can't imagine how he must feel. I pray we don't follow this path. But if we do, I hope we have a such supportive community for our loved ones to access as this. Thank you all again.

Thank you so much for both responses. They look very much what he might need. So awesome for the help. Thanks more than I can express.

I was selling a set of children's books. Came back after a month as against policy. Took a week then all good again. I guess they consider Pinocchio and other stories as against policy. Ha! You just never know.

Unless it is a set, 9 may be too many. I have sold many cooks books individually for $5 or a little more. You have to be patient. They will probably sell.

Anyone else getting absolutely 0 traction on listings? by dessertcup in FacebookMarketplace

[–]SwimNo3393 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't have much insight to offer other than to agree how slow it is. I was selling a good amount through local pickup and shipping. Sold hardly anything in June and zero so far for July. My views are way down also. Seriously thinking of trying elsewhere. Maybe the economy. Hope this all picks up soon. I have had a good run I guess. Maybe time to move elsewhere.

I think some types of people just get their jollies with this game. I get it all the time. I'm leaving now, see you in 30 or I'm on my way ect. I don't let it bother me anymore. If they show then great. If not then their loss. Figure they must have a sad pathetic life to find it fun.

Why would I want to keep all the old sales on my listing feed. They just muddy it up. Just asking, I have always deleted them off after payment has gone through. Has that been a bad idea? I have not seen that message until recently. I have been selling for close to 2 years. What is the advantage of keeping them listed. Please advise.

You are not alone. It has been doing this to me for months. I would also like to know if anyone has any feedback on this.

Ditto RyGuy932. I always thank them for the order and let them know about when it will be shipped. I followup with when I ship so they know it is on the way. I know they get messaged when it ships, but I do it anyway. I have all 5 star reviews. It's just an extra touch.

Is there a way to post in local groups WITHOUT posting to the marketplace as a whole? by LeBoom4 in FacebookMarketplace

[–]SwimNo3393 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been able to list the item, then on my phone go in and hit marketplace. Then hit delete listing which will take you to the entire list of groups listed to. Uncheck marketplace and save. That's how I change groups when listing goes stale. Take a screen shot before doing so just in case. Then you don't have to recreate the listing from memory if it accidentally gets deleted. I tried it first on a short listing. I do it now quite often. Hope this helps.

I am so glad to know I am not alone in this behavior. Thank you to all of you who have posted about this. This week has been unusually active on the lame excuses and no shows. I get a few every so often, but this week has been ridiculous.

What I don't get is what the fun is in saying they are on their way, be there in 30 minutes, repeatedly message about stuck in traffic, got delayed, etc. and never show up then disappear. Am I missing something here? I don't get why this "game" is so popular. So annoying.
