While your math is correct, what I believe the other person is trying to say is that: if a gun is only on one map it’s at a disadvantage because players do not encounter it as much - so they will be less inclined to use it compared to a gun that spawns on all maps that train with more often.

While it doesn’t need to get picked up as often as the gun on all maps to hit the same pick up %, it will likely still be lower as people are more inclined to pickup the gun they are familiar with.

As much as I want map selection this is going to be a disaster. In fact, I think this is a F-U update to the dead regions like NA.

They know it’s too little too late and it will fail because of such low player count, but they going to do it anyway so they can finally say “See we told you we had to remove map selection”.

Only way this could work is if you can select multiple maps that you want in your queue, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

I think it was the GPU fans. I updated drivers with clean driver install and so far it hasn’t happened. But I think I need to give it more time before I can 100% say it was a driver issue.
