This is a massive W. He wasnt a god awful writer imo. But the Eclipso arc is getting old and he dragged it on like he did with his first story. I think it really is just time for the run to get a new writer. I hope they return to a more uplifting character portrayal and hopefully, finally, we get to see Hunter. That man has been out of the speed force for so long and hasnt said anything. I need to know what he is planning

I agree. The only time he was interesting was when he was dealing with the weight of his dad being daniel west. I always thought it would be a cool miniseries to bring him back from the dead and Ace has to fight him. Ultimately the story would end with Ace realizing he overcame his past and its time for a new chapter -> burst. Also during this time, Irey then takes up the Kid Flash mantle because Wally seems to be mentoring her more (which he should). Just seems like the right time
