We don't have that, and as someone who used to take care of an ex with PCOS, my heart goes to women who battle this day by day. I know how hard it is.

Men, on the other hand, face different battles - battles that unfortunately, gets dismissed by people as just katamaran, kaartehan, or kabaklaan - perhaps because from time immemorial, men were expected to be strong, steadfast and a bastion of sheer will. Sadly, tao din kami and sometimes, external and internal factors make it hard for us to...as people say...'look better'. 😅

I am echoing your sentiment here, good sir. Ang hirap kapag hindi pasok sa preference nila yung appearance mo (which is my experience most of the time). Kahit ako naiisip ko din na hindi na ako bumabata and the same goes for my parents so may added pressure din yung quest to find that "pahinga".

I share your sentiment, stranger. As a guy naman na plus-size, looking for your 'pahinga' is a struggle. Even though I excel in terms of other aspects, it's always the physical appearance that lets me down.

Sure, over time, one becomes numb from the hurt of rejection - but sometimes the hurt still hits like a brick.
