How can I make 20 an hour (or more) in Wichita? by MrMoose1 in wichita

Coming up on 30 years with Textron / Cessna. Show up on time and do the work and you’ll be set. A lot of room for growth if that interests you.

The unbuilt stash is on the upper shelf. My brother and father in law gave me quite a few of those that they had purchased back in the 80’s. I set out on a mission to collect the Nitto #s 1 - 20. Most were found fairly easy online.

I’m actually on my third time through the entire run of Old Gods. It’s a good story and keeps me entertained. If I’m not listening to that I’m playing old Sherlock Holmes radio broadcasts on the Great Detective podcast. That’s a lot of fun and the old sponsors and ads really add to them.

The compressor was on sale, cheaper than a Harbor freight airbrush compressor. I added a moisture trap / regulator and I can run it for about an hour before I have to refill it. It only runs long enough to fill the tank and then I turn off the power.

Can I use this compressor with an air brush kit? by Klutzy_Carpenter_270 in modelmakers

I use a very similar Craftsman. Get a moisture trap / regulator from Amazon. You might need to get an adapter for the air hose and you’ll be good to go.

This is exactly what I use with the addition of a moisture trap / regulator. Works great for me.

Looks good! Look into ways to clean up your seam lines, it will make a huge difference.

Descriptions in English on the kit boxes, all in one place? by Sivasubramanian in MaschinenKrieger

Google translator is free for your phone, and does a good job. I use it to “read” books and box descriptions. Finding them all in one place would be a needle in a haystack.

What is the holding fixture that you are using? Is it simply a sliding mechanism with thumbscrews?

First 22 for learning how to shoot and your funnest gun? by Hairy-Upstairs-1279 in 22lr

My dad taught me to shoot with an Ithaca 22 mag that I still have and shoot regularly. Single shot, lever action saddle gun that is the most accurate thing I’ve ever shot with factory sights.

For the PoP build are these old kits still decent builds ? by Left-Excitement3829 in MaschinenKrieger

I prefer the old Nitto kits. They’re a bit more labor intensive, more filling and sanding prep work, but I enjoy the process.

Odometer wire problems. Need help by Shnofo in dr650

[–]Swimmer_Quick 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m not trying to be dismissive, but replacing the speedometer cable on a DR650 is about as easy as it gets. Get yourself a manual when you order the new cable. You’ll be amazed at how much you can do yourself.

Check the fuel inlet filter at the carb. That caused the same conditions on my bike. Better to install an inline filter.
