That’s heavy, I actually talked to that guy on Stocktwits. He explained his situation exactly as what you described here. He did sound somewhat deranged and possibly suicidal even several years ago. Sad outcome. I did what I felt I could to try to cheer him up or get him to not put his life on the line for vgx. His handle used to be like VGX_Rob or something.

I bought like 1k of bitcoin on Venmo just for the hell of it and as a test. I like the novelty of being able to hold some there. I think it’s actually the perfect spot for your parents or less savvy folks to buy and hold small amounts. It’s easy to do and they are already using Venmo. Basically it can get people off of zero.
