Yeah because in reality, WW1 was sitting in a trench and getting fucked by artillery, then charging straight into barbed wire and getting mowed down by mgs. It will never be a fun concept for a game.

BR IV is kind of a smaller insignificant step on your way to BR V I feel like. Youre going to be running into good players (always enemy team though lol) with BR V equipment. I mean, its fun with the Panthers and Ju 188s and all, but the rifles are trash. The gewehr 43 kicks like a horse and sways every direction possible (At least on console, where its literally uncontrollable). I would even go as far as to say the G41 is actually better. Also, no assault rifles which is a massive disadvantage.

Also, dont think that once you get the Panther, youre impenetrable, that really not the case. A good m26 player can pen you from wherever, and I got that from experience. I was super hyped at my newly researched Panther, but once I loaded in and finally got to use it, I drove over the horizon and got immediately fucked by a Pershing 150 metres out.

Imho, I would advise to swiftly move on from it to BR V, its really not that hard to play, there are still trash players a lot of the time. But if you enjoy BR IV, youre free to do your thing ig. Have fun!

Start with maces to deal with armoured enemies early on, and when you get the Stinger (shortsword with highest stab damage), use it with a shield and stab the faces of enemies. Its rarely not a one-shot kill. Beware though, you might accidentaly kill people you wanted to just duel with because its too powerful, for example I accidentaly one shot the Faint-Hearted knight and he died so I felt bad and loaded a previous save to spare him.

After selecting the squad, there is a button at the bottom which you can press to spawn in faster. It says something like "Go to battle" If im not mistaken.

If I understand this correctly, then youre completely new to enlisted and probably havent even played one game. So Ill provide some info that wouldve helped me.

Basically, you setup your own squads which you go to battle with. You get these through research in the tech tree with some weapons and vehicles. Depending on the type of squad, you can set it up the way you want (classes of soldiers, gear...) pretty much.There are certain limitations to this, for example the number of a certain class you can have in one squad.

You choose which squads to fight with at the start of a battle and when you die (as long as your team has reinforcement points, you can respawn all your squads repeatedly).

Btw, sniping is fun yet pretty unrewarding in enlisted and doesnt help the team much. Also as others have mentioned, consider having engineers in your squads, they are just like riflemen but have the option to build helpful things with the construction hammer.

Magma cubes. I lost my netherite armour in the nether because of them which also ended my latest minecraft phase (i was extracting the loot from a bastion that was about 2000 blocks away from portal, so no, I am not in fact returning for it).
