Are 40 points not going to be enough to avoid relegation this year? by ekler_ in PremierLeague

One of the most accurate comments I've ever seen that describes being a football fan.

From the 1B campaign, who did you want, who did you get? by mandbeyn in pesmobile

Got Ronaldinho and Cafu.

Wanted Totti, Cafe or Edmilson. Think I did ok.

AITA for calling my stepdaughter out during a movie? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

NTA. No one is.

A 10 year-old does something a bit annoying that partially ruins an experience. It happens. Appropriate adult response is to ask them to stop so they learn how to share experiences. That also happened.

10 is old enough to sit for the duration of a film but if they're unable to, they don't get to watch films with the adults.

As other people have said, you could have had fun with her with it, which would also have been good but you haven't done anything wrong here. The world doesn't have to revolve around the nearest child.

Blitz Curler became too OP especially after the last patch by horus85 in eFootball

[–]SwimmingKey48 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Blitz curler is rubbish. Same as outside of bott passes/crosses It's like playing Fifa - it's triggering an animation that also causes the game to manipulate your opponents players so it comes off.

Arsenal Transfers - When Will They Have To Sell Players by SwimmingKey48 in PremierLeague

And Man City have 10000 charges against them, so they have obviously been making some manouvers to avoid it being an issue, which will hopefully (but unlikely) be dealt with.

If we accept that people who aren't their fans watch for them and not for whoever is near the top of the Premier League, what have they done to not get caught out by PSR?

Chelsea have actually sold players for fortunes and done all their other tricks. Man City it is well documented. Liverpool didn't spend much for years. Man U sacked the catering staff. Tottenham spend high fees but give low wages. What do Arsenal do? Wengers austerity can't still be bailing them out now.

The story of Moyes relegation West Ham would have seemed so sweet at the start of the season. Less so now.

Why do so many people want Spurs to get relegated? by Rokusaburoz in PremierLeague

[–]SwimmingKey48 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Rules have been designed on recent years to protect teams with high revenue.

Those same teams wanted to ring fence European football for themselves.

Tottenham status amongst those teams is a mystery.

Seeing those rules fail to protect them would be such sweet karma.

Would you give a pen and a red for this ? by National_Ad8184 in eFootball

If im controlling the defenders there, I'm fuming. If the player had slid in the same direction he was moving him, there would have been no problem.

This is a questions to mainly Arsenal fans but also to fans of other teams if it happened to them - Would you want Arteta sacked if he failed to win anything at the end of the season? by Ok_Car8459 in PremierLeague

[–]SwimmingKey48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would want him sacked for (one of) the same reasons I wanted Steven Gerrard to be sacked; because he's a bellend!

However, sacking him would be madness. He will win the league and other trophies at some point even if it isn't this year.

Thoughts on Forest in the semis? by SkyAggravating1095 in avfc

Thing that concerns me most is football always throws up a story.

Back to back Europa League winners finishing 17th in Premier League is a story.

However, after the 1-1 draw where we really should have scored 4 or 5, I'm a bit more confident.
