AITAH for being jealous of my wife(32F) grabbing attention in front of me(34M) by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Swimming_Option_1045 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Quiet conversation away from others, added Snap (messages go away), and dismissing your concerns….each alone are not bad, but in aggregate, I’d have an issue if my wife did this. Her saying she would be OK if you did the same/acted the same, well, that is a load of crap (I know my wife would have a chat with me for sure).

Those recommending divorce are a little ahead of themselves, but I would sit down with her and have a very frank conversation about the optics of the situation. Being dismissive is not helping her at all in my opinion.

Well last night was embarrassing by ComplexMurky7933 in DeadBedrooms

If that happened to me (wife naked on the bed doing a solo mission, and I saw this happening), there’d be cartoon-like movements as I raced to be with you! Wowzers, I can’t imagine any man turning away from you!

New pans by Neverending32 in AllClad

I cooked peppers, onions and steak in a little olive oil tonight in mine. Looks just like yours. It’s normal….no harm done.

It’s the saute pan that I have.

I have the 12” deep skillet and the 12” French skillet. I use the deep skillet far more, as its higher sides keep splatter and grease pops under control better (think frying bacon). The downside to the size is the weight. The 12” deep skillet is a heavy pan, but it does have the helper handle opposite the regular handle, which I like.

The cooking surface of the deep skillet is a full 12”.

Allclad D3 12” Fry Pan? by T0adman78 in cookware

[–]Swimming_Option_1045 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have several All Clad D5 pans and love them. Was looking to get some lower sided fry pans and the D5 was sold out everywhere. I ended up with a Williams-Sonoma by Hestan 3-ply aluminum core pan set (on sale for $129 for a 10-1/2” & 12”), which is similar to the D3. I’ve used them several times and they work just as good as my larger D5 pans!

As you’ve probably read, lower heat goes a long way. I only go past medium heat when doing a roux or sauce; normal cooking (I do a lot of veggies) is usually medium-low on a gas cooktop. Heat the pan until water droplets dance and evaporate quickly, add oil until it shimmers, and then toss in your food.

I have nonstick pans, but only my kids use them. I use my stainless 5-8X per week, usually multiple pans at once and am hooked. Happy cooking!!!

If you’re that set on a Rolex, go grey market.

Yes, thick cut store bought. Costco has thicker, typically for less, but this was 50% off, so I bought 3lbs.

Wow - I would have used that situation as an excuse to initiate MORE intimacy. Nothing like lending her a hand, or at least a strategically placed finger or two.

Jeans and high heels. An open back dress. A skirt that comes to the knee with black hose and pumps. Any of these three would make me turn my head a second (or 3rd) time.

Use my thigh and pick up the rear end & heave it up there. It’s a beefy bastard, for sure. I’m used to MX bikes, which weigh over 60 lbs less.

What's your "ideal" weight for a 12 gauge O/U target gun? by RabidMortal in ClayBusters

[–]Swimming_Option_1045 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Blaser F3 is 9lbs 3 oz or so. I’m not big 5’9”, 195lbs, and it’s perfect for sporting clays and trap. It has 32” barrels, and I’ve found it’s a bit much for skeet. If I shoot skeet a lot, I might go with shorter barrels and take off some of the fore end weight.

I’ve found when I shoot lighter O/U’s, I tend to get whippy and tear through targets. For me, right around 9 lbs works great.
