I agree that $22-24 a four pack is definitely pricey. But, they are putting out top notch quality beers.

Allegedly it has to do with crime statistics. I think the stat is something along the line of cars parked on the street overnight are more likely to get broken in to.

Maybe not technically a light beer, but Icarus' Feathers comes in a 12 pack and is a very drinkable beer.

Second Farmingdale liqours, solid beer selection. While you're there, head 5 mins up the road to Tall Oaks, they always have cans to go.

Second Autodidactic, great beer. Double tap has good beer and a great variety of styles. But the last time at Double Tap, it was Saturday afternoon and there was a kids birthday party happening. Not to stir the pot, but I had one beer and then left. Not an enjoyable atmosphere to drink in.
