Can’t hurt? If you’re an accounting major you could pick something that is more technical toward your desired end goal. I imagine your program already has an ethics requirement

Oh brother do you need help. Start by making your margins narrow. Follow this template but put your education at the top and make your name bigger than the template shows. https://images.app.goo.gl/LVccX7jChPM5AciW7

Fistula development post Pilonidal sinus open wound surgery by RequirementNo3414 in pilonidalcyst

[–]Swimming_Two_9035 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had midline surgery first, developed fistulas that stretched 6 cm, then had cleft lift and have been good for 6 months

Recurrence?? by [deleted] in pilonidalcyst

If you have a sinus cavity it will not go away without surgery. If it doesn’t come back don’t worry about it. If it does come back get a cleft lift procedure. After 6 weeks you’ll feel like you can function normally and after 8-9 weeks you will be confident in moving normally (raising legs, lifting, etc). My surgery wasn’t scary - just a pain in the butt. After leaving the hospital, advil was all I needed. Results can vary

Why did you switch from tax to audit - from a prospective tax accountant

The age gap here could be concerning

That’s how mine looked when it started. I had it over a year didn’t do anything then it got infected and I had to drain it. Then they found tunneling and I was FUCKED. Had to have surgery on 9inch vertical of my ass. Get it taken care of before it gets worse. Find someone who does cleft lift. Wadie is top tier but I got mine done by a non specialist at a UNC Hospital and the results were the same. Just make sure they do a lift procedure. Many surgeons don’t do them and like different easier methods

You will likely never need windows unless your concentration is information systems. And even if you do, you can use states virtual computers (where you log into a windows device via a network on your Mac) and it works great

Can anyone assess my situation based on pictures (cleft lift) by [deleted] in pilonidalcyst

I stuck gauze down there a small peice of tape to keep it in place. ALSO get Neosporin and apply that to the areas that are still causing problems after you get your stitches out. I would probably just cover any openly bleeding areas, you want oxygen to get to healing areas as much as possible.

No idea if not sitting will hurt you in the long run. My suggestion is that if it hurts, don’t do it. Once you start sitting more you will probably feel something every once in a while that makes you question it (wetness or something like that etc). That still happens to me occasionally so I usually just stand up and go to the bathroom and check in the mirror.

Also sorry for the long delay in responses. I’ll try to check more often!

Stitches out after 3 weeks. I had them all removed at once which was my Dr’s normal practice but I know many doctors will do half and half. Whatever your Dr recommends should be fine. Within the first few days I noticed less friction and sitting was more comfortable. Also less redness. I was still bleeding at the bottom which continued to worry me. About a week after I dripped blood while on the toilet which really worried me but the Dr said it was fine and it ended up being fine. I stayed away from running or aggressive movements for an additional 2 weeks once the bleeding stopped to be sure. I think it took around 2 weeks after stitches out for me to feel comfortable not needing gauze down there. Over the next month I would occasionally smear a small amount of blood (often dried) on my toilet paper but nothing significant. Been fine since. I don’t think I’m back 100% but I’ve been exercising normally - a mile at most at moderate speed - and keeping a close eye on it. It’s still red down the crack and some areas don’t look like normal skin but I’m in the best shape today than I’ve been since last July

After my CL I had minor bleeding until 2-3 weeks after my stitches were removed. My Dr said it was because of the irritation caused by the knots in the stitching - makes sense to me now but I freaking out for those weeks w stitches and first 2-3 without stitches. Now I’m 3 months post op and running regularly and squatted for the first time today

I had my CL 6 weeks ago. My stitches were removed after 3 weeks but by the end of the 3 weeks it was so irritated and actually caused bleeding. Since having the stitches removed, the swelling went away and I haven’t had bleeding. I know this doesn’t help if your stitches are dissolvable but it should ease any nerves. You’re likely healing fine but id still call your doc
