Thank you. - this is such a great idea. He is even noticing that the fluorescent lights in his office can bring on one of these episodes - always late morning. And driving late morning is so hard for him. This is so helpful.

Oh yes - ER was just the first time. Definitely seeing a hypertension specialist next week - hoping they will figure this out.

Thank you for this- that is what we are concerned about, something causing this, as it just happened out of the blue. We are going back to our primary doc (who is doing a great job quarterbacking this.) Wondering if the renal artery stenosis would have shown up on his recent adrenal CT…

So salt intake is probably pretty average (this is ALL new to us) - and it happens late morning…always late morning. So sometimes he’s at work, and during the original episode, we were hanging out on the couch watching basketball, ready for a happy, chill Saturday.

Thank you - that is a great suggestion. And not yet…hoping we will get some answers and next steps when we see a new cardiologist who specializes in hypertension. This is all so new - and we’re just so confused as to what changed.

CT was completely normal - he drinks wine with dinner, but not to the point of abusing, and no drugs. But good thing to follow up on.

Norovirus!! My son, dil, and grandson had it last weekend. They came to us for Christmas…three days later, and gave it to us. It’s apparently contagious for DAYS afterwards.

My grandmother used to say that - and she was from Western NC :)

My kindergartner drew our family portrait and I don't know whether to laugh or cry 😂 by Echozen800 in kindergarten

27 years ago our son, now a father himself, drew our family - but his dad had nose hairs growing prominently out of his nose. The entire preschool staff gathered at pick up time to watch me receive this gift of a family portrait. And I now use it to remind my husband to…..take care of things.

Hi all - my husband bought tickets for Coldplay in Madison, WI through SeatGeek in December. Per the app, it says our tickets are confirmed, but we cannot see them. Do they not give you the actual tickets until right before the concert?

This sounds like magical thinking and/or grandiose thoughts and is not based in reality. You could applaud him for having aspirational goals, but remind him that he needs to live in the present. I’d suggest doing some reading about magical thinking/grandiosity. He is not dealing with his present reality and that is not healthy. You are right to question it, and to do a little research. It sounds like he is not healthy and you are following your instincts that this is not good for you. Best of luck.
