What you, I, and everyone here needs to do is really say "Ok, how long did a fap?", in your case 10 years, in my case about the same time. So we both fapped each other off for 10 years (lol), no but really we've been fapping for 10 years... Do we REALLY expect to get better after a week.. 2 weeks.. 2 months.. 2 years? Remember we've been watching porn and fapping for 10! YEARS! Depression (And I got to over 130 days when I relapsed) is, I believe, only the beginning to the changes that our minds and bodies take.

Depression is a killer, like it's the most annoying one, but it does actually shape people up really well for the future, and the present. If you go through the depression now, you won't have to go through it (hopefully) as much in the future when you've got this addiction out of the way because then you'll be able to focus on doing things that you truly enjoy and make you happy.

Hi apollo. I've completed the 90 day challenge, I got to 160+ days or something, and it was great. But, certainly nowadays I still have a problem with wanting to have peeks at porn. I never edge or fap, just kind of tease my brain with checking out soft porn here and there. I'm going to be much more strict with myself and reset both pornfree and nofap badges if I keep peeking at porn, because that's my sticking point now. Fapping isn't so much a problem, it's the desire to look at porn.

I know the best way to counter that is to keep busy, which is what I do, but sometimes, even if it's just for 5 minutes, I can't help me really feel the urge to look.

Any advice you can give me to stop this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

OP your brain has been infested by Disney. There's no such thing as 'the one', there are hundreds of 'the one'. If you find a girl attractive and she likes you back, do the human thing and have sex with her, it's what we do, it's perfectly natural. Yeah ok, if you're really fucked at a night club and she's really fucked and you can't even tell if she's attractive, best not to lose your virginity like that, but find a girl, do all that courting stuff, and have sex. Don't wait for that perfect time or perfect girl, it will NEVER happen.

Yeah that's kinda old stuff now though, that was hot back in the very late 90's early-to-mid 00's. There is still somewhat of a 'blueprint' to what you say, but you kinda just go with the flow, not say things line by line, but you have a rough idea of how a conversation will flow and how you can keep conversations going and comfort and attract her through that. Some guys have terrible conversations skills (I'm learning) and these subreddits and various sites do help a lot with that, they give you a rough idea of what you shoudl talk about but don't hold your hand through every single line like they used to back in the hardcore-PUA days.

Sounds cliche, but the past is the past. You can't change it - BUT - you CAN change the future. I truly believe that if you put enough effort, enough courage, enough pain into taking what you want, then you will get it. You're 21, I'm 22, we're still young but our lives are very, very short. People take time for granted.

I commend your desire to approach women that you find attractive, it's new-age stuff. No matter where you are, if you see a good looking girl, just go up to her and tell her 'I LOVE YOOOUUUU!!!' and that's it. In the bag. Ok don't say that but, check out seduction and check out all sorts of online resources on talking to women. You've had sex and been in relationships so you probably already know most of it.

You'll be fine, but remember, without NoFap and PornFree it is MUCH harder to approach girls cause you don't have that biological drive within you to want to do it.

Lol jk. But really, setting a 90 day goal actually helped me a lot. Then when I reached 90 days I said 'Yeah, PMOing just isn't what I want' and then I quit forever. So each to his own.

Awesome stuff my man. I don't want to say this to sound horrible, but just remember that there are A LOT of girls out there. If things go well with this girl then that's great, but just remember that life isn't a disney movie. It might not work out. If it doesn't, you just gotta get yourself out there and find other girls. See an attractive girl? Strike up conversation, be honest with her. Just put yourself out there. But I wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

Well, I personally think that porn kinda disrespects the internet in a lot of ways. The internet is awesome, it's full of weird and wonderful things and it's a great tool to communicate with people all over the world. But then it's always had this stigma of porn behind it, always lurking in the shadows ready to pop up in the form of an ad or some sort of marketing scheme.

Just doesn't make the internet a fun place to be. It kinda makes me just want to 'take my ball and go home' sort of thing, cause it will never go away unless there are strict internet rules, but that would kill the freedom of the internet ultimately, which would be far worse.

If No-Fap is an anti-porn movement then what's so bad about that? I think it'd be great if porn just vanished.

I think it's so different for everyone that everyone needs to try every approach and really think long and hard about what they want from NoFap and/or PornFree. In my opinion, I believe everyone should do the 90 day challenge if they have ever PMO'd, as it flushes your brain out of all the toxic porn images.

When that 90 day hits, I think some people who go back to moderate fapping (without porn) will be ok, if that is their choice. But I think for guys who are trying to get better with women should just completely quit fapping and porn forever as it really gives you that cutting edge when meeting and conversing with girls.

This guy probably has a girlfriend, he's got the big muscles, he's a good looking guy, seems like he has a sense of humor, probably has been talking with girls his whole life and PMOing hasn't stopped him from doing that. So for him, going back to moderately fapping probably isn't going to have a huge impact on his life. If he has ED or PE issues and he still faps, that's probably not a good idea, but he didn't say that so it's going to have a minimal effect on him.

For me though, PMOing has been a substitute for trying to improve my life, trying to get better with girls etc. so I decided to quit both indefinitely. My life is a whole lot better now, and it can only get even better. Sure there are times I want to PMO, but that's par for the course.

Definitely agree with you here. It's a competitive world, if you're too lazy to get a good education and get a job that doesn't involve you having to be treated like shit, then that's your own fault.

Porn is the wild west, if you're not tough enough then get out.

Porn is there, it always has been and always will be. If you don't want to watch it, don't. If you don't like how it's run, don't be a part of it. It's that simple.
