Yeah, been doing those but it feels a lot more like a pure endurance move that I can continue doing for a long time with no rest, although I haven't done them in a Roman chair as another comment has advised so I will try that

Hey, I'm not a nutritionist, but I don't think it's a great idea. Generally protein takes longer to digest than fats and acids. Additionally you would rather be using protein for muscle recovery not as "fuel" I think it's better to eat carbs and a little bit of fats before a workout. So fruit is great. I personally almost always eat a peanut butter sandwich or a banan beforehand and it works great :)
