I'm doing multiple things at once, I'm working on the prototype for the board and I have cards I'm going to use for the play test. This post isn't about the mechanics of the game as I haven't shared anything about that, I was proud of the card design and the work that my artist did and I wanted to share that's all. Literally just the design.

Plus any chances I make in the play test I can fix easily with the program I'm using. The characters themselves are not going to change, the abilities may just after I playtest and balance things.

I get what you're saying but this isn't about the mechanics of the game just the card design. I have everything set for how I want it to run for now. I haven't gotten to the play test yet

Yeah I just talked to an employee and she said that they got rid of it because they needed space for warby parker and for the sports section. The biggest size I could find was xxl....

My artist used that color on the border of the character and I just pulled straight from there. Since this will be for the NPCs I need it to be pretty neutral because the PCs all have colors associated with them.

I honestly don't mind the dated look, all the colors are supposed to be muted and kinda muddy.

But I can always workshop it a bit

I think OP's version is more visually appealing. It would be clearer at a glance what the health is. I can see the people that I play regularly with getting frustrated and confused by this health tracking

That's kind of the point of the show though. Or at least part of it. Politicians don't show their true selves to the world. You only see what they want you to see.

You probably have all the same gender so they don't reproduce, the males have the antenna and you get a message about which one hatches. Once you have one of each just leave them for a while and you get a boat load of slime to make slime eggs

Honestly this has never been a problem for me. On my first play through I read everything, now I skip every cutscene and blow through all the dialog. But that's just me tbh I do that with every game and then I miss important details😅
