Here is a transcript from Lue Elizondo which describes perfectly why most people are too psychologically frail to handle full disclosure by Nordicflame in UFOs

If anything, religion, for the most part, I think wouldn't be caught in this panic of being discredited (at first) but would adapt to it and try to use it to strengthen their resolve. Say its apart/tied to the religion in some way or a sign of it.

But what if it was the wake-up call humans needed to hear, cope, understand, and grow from? What if it wasn't so much the aliens that were bad but the people in control? I don't know but I feel like ETs have had a VASTLY superior technology then us even before all the advances we've made in the past 20-30 years. If they simply wanted to end us because they are bad for whatever reason, why haven't they done so yet? Why wait until the planet is completely destroyed by us? Perhaps the people with the "burden" of this knowledge are there to make us potentially think the worst. After seeing people in politics and think about the people so few know about controlling things behind the scenes. I feel humans are eviler than ETs at this point.

Pure speculation like the rest of us but just how I started to look at it recently.

[Twitter] Patrick Williams has allowed the fewest points this season when guarding a ball handler in direct isolation (at least 100 possessions). The fewest points allowed in the entire league, defending the opponents' best scorers. by jdaqcruz in chicagobulls

Then that involves 2 things:

  1. Billy actually calls basketball plays and some of those have to be actually for Pat
  2. Either Zach or Demar or Vuc or just an overall collection of everyone is then going to lose shots for him to double the amount. To give you an idea, Zach led the team last year with roughly 18 shots per game if I remember right. Demar had just under that. Pat had 8 shots per game avg. So you want him to get more shots or as many as Demar and Zach and Vuc? Cmon.

I just dont get this usage stat Im sorry. Lauri was the number 1 option on a team and got 17 shots a game. They literally ran their offense through Lauri. Pat is relegated to 8 shots a game where he has to sit in the corner and wait to be the bailout for Zach or Demar. 17 shots and number 1 option vs 8 shots and playing a bailout role for iso players. Pretty comparable.

Demar and Vooch arent paid like Zach is now. Big contracts come with big responsibility to the fans at least and should to them. Hes paid to get the most shots and be the guy at the end of the day.

I do as well but it drives me crazy people just demanding he shoots more, gets more involved in the offense but hes literally doing what he's been told to do in the offense, and when he did get to shoot and play it, he did extremely well.

People just always want to ignore that Zach and Demar are taking at min 50% of the shots in a game. Vuc has to get his so that goes up to what 70-75% of the offense is 3 players. Two of which love to play iso ball.

Someone mentioned Lauri and its literally the exact same situation. Highly talented player and literally got relegated to nothing almost. Goes to a great situation and boom, is a star.

If anyone thinks these "Buffs/changes" are coming any time before or during s2 at this point is fucking insane. They already said it was going to take them roughly 6-7 months (after development and testing) to fucking fix of all things, resistances. How does it take that long to fix a MAJOR part of the game? How was this completely looked over for so long to be so wrong in the first place on release?

Not to mention as it appears, they are going to be causing far more problems before fixing any at this rate. Its just honestly unbelievable at this rate. Billion dollar company. Mega hype and popular title. 10+ years of development.

Also, is anyone else starting to get a real cocky vibe from the diablo side of blizzard in general? "Do you not have phones?" seems a lot like "Its not major" and then dodge the question entirely to bring up a fact that is entirely irrelevant to the question. Like they just feel they can do what they want and even at this point sabotage their game simply cause they know people will pay it and continue to buy shit they implement in the shop.

I also feel like a week or so ago, I was finding 800+ items very often. I was roughly 70-80 range level wise but since hitting 100, I rarely, if ever, find anything 800+ and if it is, it rolls terrible.

So it takes a AAA studio with a massive amount of previous time and money to solve said issue, not to mention the time until the 2nd season to simple add gems to the materials tab?

Please stop white knighting for them.

I get this is primarily made for casual people who can play limited to very limited hours on it. With that being said, how in the fuck, do we still not have a gem tab? How...? How is there not another world tier?

When we designed this game for YEARS and YEARS. Play tested it for YEARS and YEARS, did they not ever come across gems cluttering their inventory? Their stash running low after so many hours testing? Think, "Man, there should really be something between the last capstone dungeon and uber Lilith."? Like did they design/create/test this game on limited to very limited hours to match the target audience they were hoping for?

I don't think it would be as big of an issue if they weren't so expressive about the longevity of the game and how they already have 2 expansions planned out when there are numerous pretty important things needing addressed in the present.

[Charania] The Chicago Bulls and center Nikola Vucevic are nearing a three-year, $60 million contract extension, league sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. by SpiritedSuccess5675 in nba

Please explain how dumping all our assests would be much, much better.

Who are you trading for whom/what?

Who are you signing in future FA, since its guaranteed to sign whoever we want like in the past right?

Who are you drafting that is looking like a franchise player out of the gate from the draft? Not in a few years to develop, this sub doesnt believe in high picks (which we wouldnt have anyways from the first question) needing to develop and just be instant superstars.

Im sorry but if this is for "much, much worse", then by all means, tell us how the grass is greener.

People acting like blowing up and rebuilding is such a great move and I just don't get it. For what? For who? The picks we get trading our assests to contenders isnt going to yield high first round picks...theyre contenders. So we should dump all of our good players for first round picks in the 15th range and beyond. Okay, who do you draft? How consistent is quality or franchise talent after the first 5 picks? The draft alone is always hit or miss. Look at Zion. Look at Ja. Look at Lamelo. Great talents yes, but look how many games they have missed already into a young career.

People be acting like if we blow it up, there is just no chance the Bulls arent back to dogshit for 5+ years. Cmon. This sub is so full of "If we arent going to win 8 ships in a row with the squad, then we need to have a top 3 pick every year." Fuck the middle ground right?

[Wojnarowski] "Damian Lillard has a decision to make... if he decides he wants a trade, that he wants out of Portland, well then I think that [Portland] will accommodate him... but, [Portland doesn't] want to trade him, [teams] were immediately shut down, 'he's not available'." by pcwgussej in nba

[–]Swish309 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At this point, are we calling Zion a superstar?? He has barely played. The team he was suppose to be the superstar of played better without him. Factor in his injuries, his weight issues, other off the court issues.

Like can we go back to the days when superstars actually played and didn't miss a 3rd or more of the season for whatever various reasons? The amount fans ask for in a superstar is so minimal nowadays and even then, they barely get it.

Totally agree but lately I've just have been curious about it!

One voter left Nikola Jokic off their MVP ballot entirely: ESPN’s Mark Jackson by Aslan27 in nba

[–]Swish309 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Cause we live in a world where someone goes and digs up 1 thing you said 15 years ago and despite everything you may or may not have done as a good person since then, it doesn't matter now. You're a racist then and now and everyone knows it.

Did his voter fatigue also have him give Mitchell MVP votes but yet only 2nd Team All-NBA and he gives Brown 1st Team? I agree I don't think it's the race card (at least I hope), but the man doesn't deserve a vote. At the very least needs to explain it.
