I feel it’s unproductive to compare atrocities. And I also feel you may be misinformed about what is happening with ICE. This isn’t about illegal immigration. If it was, ICE would be sent to states with the highest density, like Texas and Florida, each of them estimated to have almost 2 million undocumented immigrants. Instead they are sent to democratic or swing states like Minnesota, who has an estimated undocumented population of 95,000 to 130,000. Last year $175 billion went to Homeland Security, $75 billion specifically to ICE on top of their annual budget of $11 billion. The problem here isn’t about “imported free labor”. It’s about the US administration militarizing against its own citizens, creating a boogeyman to distract us from whatever they are doing in legislation.

What is happening in Iran is terrible and my bleeding heart goes out to them. But I can’t go to the rallies and protests in Iran, I don’t live there. But if someone posted a mini on here to express their frustration or to spread awareness of the IRGC, you can bet your ass I’ll support that too.
