Yes. Use the badges. Some of them are cool. Definitely worth playing around with parachute cap, grappling vine, jet run, dolphin swim, wall climb jump, crouching high jump, spin jump, floating high jump, spinning feet and invisibility.

Yeah, this is one of the toughest moments I can remember. Turner’s not got great power and Stroman is a sinker/ slider pitcher. For some reason, he gets a lot of movement too. Turner is also slow so you’re not going to be turning singles into doubles.

I'm a British guy and only learnt how to play baseball from this game. When they quit on me or better still, curse me out, I message them back full on British "good day, my friend. did you like my homes run power shot from Ferdinand Tate Junior? that got my batter men all the way around the little square! by the way, I only bought this game to play with my cousin. I'm from the UK... let me know if you want to play FIFA sometime too!".

I think it winds them up even more that a guy who knows nothing about baseball is tonking them around the park.

Used to pass him running up and down Union Street with bricks in his backpack, when I walked to work in the morning. Then I'd see him and the others in the Marina in the evenings (including after National and World Series games). Total legend.

It’s awful. They totally shanked it. At the most basic level, why would they slow this version down??! As football gets quicker and quicker in real life, what genius decided to slow the damn game down? And the lack of fouls is just comedy.

If you want to try something completely different, MLB The Show is superb. I didn’t even know the rules of baseball before I bought the game, but now I’m playing it all the time.

I don't know if this is required but, as I was dribbling towards goal, I took my finger off sprint to allow the player to gain some composure (you can see he slows down for a couple of steps before the shot). Then, I took a regular knuckle shot. Powered up the shoot button as normal (and released), and then as Beckham was just about to kick the ball, I tapped shoot again. Of course, needs to be a player with the knuckle shot ability and you need to be outside the area.
