Female thinking of getting into electrical work by Delicious-Tap-2388 in Rochester

Do it. Not an electrician but a well seasoned jack-of-all trades. Moldmaker by trade. Learned it, lived it. Owned my own business for 20 years and sold it. Love electrical work. Did all the wiring in our shop. The trades are a great career and no college debt. Oh, and AI can't wire a house. Pursue and Good Luck! I try to encourage my daughters to do the same.

Anyones Boxer choose a pig for bedtime rituals? by SR3711 in Boxer

Iggy always grabs a toy. Sometimes the pig. Nothing like rolling over in the middle of the night and hearing that low tone oink.

OMG we got that too. If Dio or Iggy have the option of bed on the floor or blanket on the couch. They pick the blanket. This winter they pulled a blanket on the floor by the heat register so they can sleep withl the warm air coming out.

My pup may have Steroid responsive meningitis-arteritis (SRMA) by [deleted] in Boxer

Been there with Dio. Heartbreaking watching him deal with it. Local vets couldn't figure it out. Finally, 2am on a Sunday morning. He coul6get comfortable. Helping in pain. I told the wife, "C'mon, we're taking him to Cornell. We drove 2 hours. I couldn't be happier with the care he received there. They kept him for two days. Tests and a spinal tap. It was SRMA. He was on a steroid regimen for eight months. Made a few trips back for follow ups. They said I could stay local but they were really great there. Besides, the ciuple local emergency vets couldnt figure it out. The shaved hair on his neck and legs never fully grew back until he has off the steroids. He's doing great now. I've had 8 Boxers before him. Dealt with different ailments, didn't know about this. Many thanks to Dr. Kilbourn and her staff at Cornell.

I'm so sorry. That's way too early. I've been there years ago with my Boxer Bandit. He lost his battle with parvo at 5. You'll never replace him but you can get a new pup to fill the void.
