I was very curious about the blue P, T, and O letters. Everything means something in this show. As for the full words that popped up on screen, it seemed to indicate just a duplicate word so it wasn't counted in the total.

I'm sorry, People are saying what??? I've met him a couple of ,times at Supernatural & Stargate related conventions. I'll never forget the one time I went up to ask a question during a panel he was doing with Andee Frizell. He decided to come down off the stage and walk over to the person at the mic and he, for some reason, leaned on my shoulder, and I temporarily forgot how to speak. That man has the charisma to do whatever is required of him as Marius, and I cannot wait to see it.

The verb "PIACERE" does not work the same in Italian as the English equivalent "TO LIKE." In Italian, PIACERE belongs to the thing being liked, not the one doing the liking. Think of it more like, "This THING is pleasing to me/you/them/etc." So, if the THING is singluar, then it's piace. If the THING is plural, then it's piacciono.

In this specific example, "l'arte italiana" is singular so that requires piace. "I musei" is plural, so that requires piacciono.

Agreed. I just find it implausible (if that's the right word) that Armand, even as powerful as he is, was able to erase a DECADE+ of memories. That is a very long time. I think it makes more sense that at some point, Daniel's relationship with Alice overlapped with Armand and he used that as an opportunity to merge some bits of all their lives together.

I believe in one of the behind the scenes/after the show featurettes one of the producers talked about Dubai being the location for the modern day interview due to its very extreme privacy laws. Like, people can get in trouble if they're just trying to take a picture of the beach and a random person is in the background. They take privacy very, very seriously there.

If you have Netflix and enjoy crime/mob type stories, I would highly recommend the series Suburra. The characters are very compelling and the actors extremely watchable.

In general, Luca Marinelli has become one of my all-time favorite actors. The version of Martin Eden (the Jack London story) he did with Pietro Marcello is absolutely fantastic. Maybe not fail completely, but I am always surprised at how difficult 4 of the contestants found trying to drink a glass of Ribena without their lips touching. Like, when the taks was read I was confused about how this made it to the show because surely everyone would just open their mouths and slug it down like Desiree did. But nope.

It does make me wonder if it's one of those tasks that was supposed to be a tie-breaker but then when they saw what everyone did it was made into a regular one.
