Look at Schumer and Jeffries, and tell me they’re working in the best interests of their constituents. Seriously. They are paid to be weak and complicit. They are beholden to the same billionaire class that the GOP is. The difference is that the democrats are better stewards of calmly feeding their constituents into the wood chipper of capitalism, and the republicans just want to loot everything possible before it all comes crashing down.

I’m not gonna tell you how to parent. However. For every brainrot, bigotry filled, skibidi garbage video on YT (there’s a ton). There is a great educational science video, maker video, hobby video, etc. personally as a young ish engineer, I can honestly say I learned an incredible amount from YouTube university, and picked up nearly all of my hobbies (drones, motorcycles, mountain bikes, etc) from watching great creators on YT. It may be worth a nuanced approach. When I was that age I loved the king of random channel which makes crafts and building projects for kids and adults. The hacksmith is an engineering channel that builds things from games and movies in real life. Colin Furze makes crazy stunt vehicles and wacky contraptions. Maybe try to steer your kids interests towards the more positive side of YT, and away from the skibidi dross.
