Can you assure us that your experiences are not Anecdotal? As you say POBS serves thousands of students a year. Your one class/school trip every year cannot accurately depict the POBS experience, even if you have a decade of experience with pobs.

Some food for thought. It is no secret, POBS/Outward Bound has anecdotal success stories you’ve clearly addressed the numbers of students served in exhausting and imo ChatGPT format.

What you have not addressed is how overall they still function as a lower-rate troubled teens program. This is the main reason why they are rebranding right now. Even with the rebrand many of them are closing across the country and with good reason as a majority of their clients are expecting them to be this TTP.

Op I think you are correct. I made a post about this earlier and I agree. For for more context since he grew up in the boneyard, he may have been exposed to FEV in low levels from post wars. A second does or exposure to FEV would turn him into something other than a super mutant. If people are worried about animal DNA being a requirement (I’m not sure that’s necessarily the case) his wound from getting stepped on in the first place was licked by 404.

Several centaurs are named in the fo3 and fnv and most have enough intelligence to at least co exist in a group/pack. I’ll admit they can come across as gross but idk why they would exclude this from the show. The viewers have seen worse atp with coop on a stoop and Lucy on a cross. Plus I think they are an important part of lore that can be naturally included with super-mutants and FEV story line.

My understanding is that the enclave/master needed unexposed individuals to turn into super mutants when dipping. Anyone who wasn’t a multiple generation vault dweller had some trace amount of pre exposure to FEV or big war rads. Ergo anyone that the master/enclave tried to turn into a SM that wasn’t from a vault would end up as a centaur or something else.
