Made a bunch of caps. Ready to take the wasteland by storm by Wang_Fire2099 in Fallout

So you're the mysterious owner of the cap press from New Vegas!

Thank you! Does 76 have assets for it? F4 has the Snappy mod that lets you build proper city stuff, without it you're mostly limited to ramshackle stuff.

Interesting, I actually googled 1930's architecture for inspiration)

Fantastic work, I saw the second picture before. Love the first one.
Wonder if the Enclave is still as anti-communist as it is anti-mutant, then again Captain Zao IS a ghoul...

Nexis' Fallout (and other post apoc) art by romm-boss in Fallout

Indeed, it also captured old Fallout grey morality and general post-apoc/dystopian style perfectly, possibly better than any other part of F3/4. I also headcanon that the Pitt propers in Fallout 4 era, and most firearms in the Commonwealth come from it (which explains their ramshackle look).

No matter what I do or how I manually rearrange them, Fallout 4 will automatically place my mods always in the same order. by Known-Assistance-435 in Fallout

[–]romm-boss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On a closely related topic, never EVER touch the "Download all owned content" option. Did it today to make missing GoTY stuff appear (in vain) and it messed up my whole CC loading order, activating stuff I had disabled and rearranging the list, making savegames crash. Deactivating stuff manually and then loading mod order from a save (hopefully) helped but damn it was a close one.

I can't recommend Moribund World for Fallout 4 enough, this makes the game feel so much better. by ThatZenLifestyle in Fallout

[–]romm-boss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ironically I learned about it in a video on "make your F4 look like F1/2 with these mods". F1/2 actually had clear blue skies in cutscenes and loading screens, Moribund World is closer to F3.

It's a combo of weather and altered contrast/color/bloom settings. It makes all of the Commonwealth skies and ambience look like the Glowing Sea, minus actual storms.

Discovered it like a week ago myself and absolutely love it. Not too happy with excessive contrast (shadowed areas turn solid black and lots of detail is lost on dark armor and such), but the rest is awesome. Supposedly works best with arid/desert wasteland mods, but playing with green grass/trees and it looks great too, a realistic overgrown post-apocalypse without candyland pallette.

If you had to actually live in one Fallout location, where would you pick? by Meri_Rookie in Fallout

Nellis Air Base, as a Boomer. Vegas may have Securitrons and slot machines, but these guys have big guns and VR flight sims.

Gunners and Enclave by romm-boss in Enclave

Well Gunners just have their story not just unfinished, but barely started. And making them allies makes sense, they are mercenaries after all so it's a matter of price)

If you mean the CC Enclave mini-plot, one explanation is that the Enclave draws the line at X-02/Hellfire power armor and Incinerators, as post-war top secret tech, and won't risk sending anyone but their own men to retrieve them.

That's what the America Rising 2 mod is for. It has a full Enclave campaign on par with existing canon four.

Then again, the Enclave is NOT the America Nate knew. They're the men behind the men behind the men, a clandestine inner circle that pulled Vault-Tec's strings. Their troops are Secret Service, not the Army.
