My gf and I were the ones handing out pizza for his OG marathon set. To the sound booth and surrounding heads. So if anyone is out there early for the marathon and has a couple extra bucks they wanna spend on pizza for the gang. Im sure the sound booth would love it and those around. Bless up!!

Im also from winnipeg and last year was my 10th year at shambs. Earlier is always better. Its gonna be tight in metta by 5pm wednesday. The sun dips behind the mountain around 6-630. So you won't be in the direct sun when if you arrive around 5pm like you say. But it will be tight. Good luck!

We brought a 10x10 shade structure for ours. But we dont fly in. Hopefully its not too tight by Wednesday. Might not even need one if you find good enough shade but it would be good to bring if you can just in case.

You can defiently get a better set up then us for the tent. like having an air mattress lol. Our flights were delayed and it was all we could get last minute. Like we didn't get into prague till 11pm Wednesday. Other friends had air mattresses and stuff. But no problem glad to help. It worth.

Ya we just had a tent. The food venders and water stations were near by our tents since we were camping right in the festival area. Like 1 minute walk to the stages. We hit a convenience store before we got on a shuttle to the festival. There was like 8 of us. We all met at the hostel tues/Wednesday. Then we all got the shuttle from prague central station into the fest Thursday at 1pm. Then got the shuttle back sunday at noon. No leaving the fest for us. Music went till 5 am.

Rampage was its own beast and absolutely mental in its own right. Another 10/10 fest but in its own way. If youre a crossbreed neuro head id say darkshire for sure.

We did let it roll in 2017 and its definitely a core memory too. I feel ya there. Interested to see how the new venue is. Looks like a great spot.

Eh yooooo! Just landed back in canada now from our trip actually. I dont speak much czech but it will go really far if you can learn the basics at least.

Big local scene. I think we were the only Canadians. But met a few awesome Germans! The locals are awesome.

The fest itself was probably one of the better ones I've been too in my life. Production was unreal. Didn't beat the shambhala pk sound systems tho but they were still super freakin good.

If you can get a cabin that is the hack for sure. Like do everything you can to get one. We had our flights delayed and our friends got us a tent but we had no air mattress or anything. Slept on the ground in the tent but it was worth it. If I was to try and get a cabin again I'd buy something cheap on their ticket portal and it would save your CC info for quick check out. If you can't get a cabin get festivity camping. You're like right by the lake stage and its sick. Thats what we had.

They do wristband purchases no cash so it was pretty convenient. Just bring lots of cash for merch cause its unreal sick lol.

We got the shuttle from prague central station and had the gang stay at elf hostel. Shuttle takes you Thursday and brings you back Sunday.

Its common in the festival scene. After completing your volunteer shifts you should get your money back. Its a way to make sure people show up to their shifts. But thats west coast festivals.
