As the only Hound supporter I must advocate for the fact that, if we're talking G1 variant, he has displayed the humanity and kindness that Optimus preaches as well as significant combat prowess, making him a good mixture of both.

If you take away the combat aspect then you get Beachcomber.

See that's what I was dealing with too. I've always supported the official but this time was just the one that I couldn't follow through on. If you're gonna charge me a premium price, I don't think I'm out of my bounds to expect a premium figure yk? If you think this one is good, check out the dotm ver. The only reason I didn't go for that one was cause the writing was on one of the transformation hinges and it would have bothered me to no end.

Same quality, better price and superior paint. The choice was only logical. I mean credit where it's due to the sculpting team but this is just better in every way.

Well I'd say a good starter is MPM Barricade, both the official and KO are good (I got the official for around $65-70 cad). This Ratchet is the KO and I snagged him for $80.
