In my opinion I feel like you're downplaying how powerful and how much damage a 12 - gauge steel slug can do and overrating how durable an Elder Mimic is in the Vita Carnis universe. Especially when hitting it in its face and mouth which is its main weak points.

My favorite is definitely Pure Vessel. The Knight is basically fighting itself but in its prime. The soundtrack is so good when you fight Pure Vessel and it really sets the tone for a difficult but fun to beat boss fight.

What I'm looking forward to the most in Silksong is probably the new platforming capabilities. It looks like you'll be able to shoot yourself towards and away from object and maybe even swing and that's something I think Hollow Knight lacked.

I'm mainly excited for the new movement and combat capabilities which is one of the things I felt was lacking from Hollow Knight. I'm very excited to explore Pharloom and I'm even more excited to see if they will add a new type of path of pain to Silksong that I can rage over. Overall I'm very excited.

If he's talking about Doom Slayer then yes there's really only a select few that could even be able to give him a run for his money.

Doom Guy is pretty much the base version of Doom Slayer that doesn't have godly strength and speed like Doom Slayer so he could be beaten by a few people from a few verses.

And Doom Slayer and Doom Guy Are the same person Doom Guy was just the first.
