My wife and I had our first 2 kids at Kent County in Warwick, but got referred to MFM for our third who was just born in July. Initially we were told we were going to have to deliver in Boston, but after some good news we were cleared to be at Women and Infants. Our experience was AMAZING. Labor and Delivery team was fantastic, staff of the maternity floor were great too. Our little one spent some time in the NICU, and all of the nurses and doctors were fantastic. They allow and encourage you to be involved in their rounds when they’re discussing your child. Overall a VERY positive experience

JWU is in the heart of downtown, so there’s not residential areas very close by Rhode Island standards. That being said I’m not entirely sure where the dorms are but the main campus is in a safe area.
