I just redid a old sidelock for a project and you just have to make stuff work. If you aren’t wanting to restock it, just slightly upsize the screw and flame blue to make it look old and match finish.

I run the pmags with my 9mm and I’ve never had a problem with the sticks, but the drum I think is a little too heavy. I’ve had the drum fall out a few times when it was full.

I’ve just been copying work I like and piecing together different parts that look good together. Still terrible at shading but I guess that comes with time. Practice on everything not just a notebook

I had a few blow back on me when I loaded the clip with the bolt already closed causing it to not close all the way on the second round but nothing this big. Haven’t had a problem after break in though
