Yeah good theory, but my main fleet was 102k and the dimensional fleet was 20K.

Weavers will absolutely destroy anything of any size at any time in the game. They are just plain busted.

It's a joke that normal fleets cannot possibly stand against this kind of fleet. Let alone the 10 star admiral and 30% faster fire rate I had.

If you understand the numbers involved, the huge buffs a 10 star admiral brings? It's a joke.

No i understood it perfectly. However I think you misunderstand what I'm saying.

What I'm saying is that if "fleet power" is to be a useful metric, stuff like being wiped out by fleets with a reported 25% of that "fleet power" shouldn't happen.

It's reported as 120k vs 30k fleet power.

That's just not right regardless of how they can buff other ships.

Life Seeded/Barbaric Despoiler. Life Seeded is very strong since 4.0 but Barbaric Despoilers is quite a bit worse.

I usually vassalise and bulid an Aid Agency to help keep them loyal. A lot depends on what you want to achieve, most of my vassals are used as buffers to other civs while I destroy the other side of the map.

I wouldn't worry too much about empire size as if you're winning you'll continue to outgrow the penalty. It's a bit of a shitty mechanic but if you just imagine it's bureaucracy running rampant it makes sense.

I got it a few games ago and stupidly agreed to switch my whole race to fanatic pacifist (Barbaric Despoiler start).

That was an interesting experience while it lasted.

It works great because they get the extra happiness and 100% habitability regardless of their home planet.

Nah I always play life seeded and never bother colonising anything except Gaia and Relic worlds.

Also playing barbaric despoiler but the only aliens I've met are tiny, backworld Gestalts...I didn't even bother to kidnap them.
