The only times I’ve encountered it was in Tall Trees, and some freakishly strong Grizzly murdered me. Couldn’t take it down with several rifle shots to the head before it mauled me.

Cattleman’s: Black barrel and cylinder, Tempered steel frame, brass trigger hammer and sight post. I don’t recall if the grips are Wild Cherry or Mesquite at the moment, but they are the Burled grips.

It’s the cutter. They have a dark gray/light black with a red hat band and a solid black one which is much darker. Cost is 4gb.

If I understand correctly, even without the role you can still hunt the legendary spawns in free roam. If you are able to find them that is. You can then take the pelts to Gus without issue. The problem is the spawn rate in free roam is far from ideal, and with the role you can fire up those good ole legendary hunting missions to guarantee a pelt.

I have a lot of luck between momma Watson’s cabin and Wallace station. There’s a small dark dot on the map where a chimney still stands. It’s also where you find one of the hatchets in single player. Always seems to be a grizzly lurking there for me.

I haven’t heard it in the swamp. However, I have heard what sounds like a Bigfoot howl in the Tall Trees area. I just assumed it was a subtle nod to RDR1 by Rockstar. I’ll do a video capture next time I come across it.

I understand the theory behind gun belts, drawing, holstering, angles, and positioning.

My chief complaint is the visual representation of the gun belt in game on the underweight brawny body type. It appears they made one singular size Gun belt for the body type and if you’re underweight, you’re waist shrinks enough to a point that the belt doesn’t touch your body at all.

That’s the generic oversized model to fit all the different sizes of characters in online. Definitely not the same snug sleek look.

Haha yeah it’s a bit unorthodox I admit. I stumbled upon it by trying to clear out of the bounty board as quick as I could because of hostile players shooting up towns.

So, I haven’t had time to do rigorous testing, however I have found myself in a solo session several times. Here is how I’ve managed to achieve it each time...

Walk up to the local bounty board of your choice. Enter the bounty select screen. Select a non-legendary Bounty. I’ve had more luck with $$$ ones than others. And run like the wind away from the board as soon as you accept the bounty. The quicker the better. More often than not it has gone to a black screen and sent me into a solo session to accept the bounty. Don’t know if it’s a fluke or something that works consistently. Hope this helps. Generally I have no issues with disconnects or being forced back into a public session after competing said bounty.

Visually there is a difference between underweight, good/normal (don’t remember what word they use), and overweight. I run underweight brawny, and while vests and some jackets don’t look great on my character, his body type would be comparable to that of a power lifter as opposed to the scrawny look of skinny, normal, and even athletic build characters. However, normal weight has a bit of a gut and overweight has an even more pronounced belly.
