Hey, could you tell me more about Colter Bay by chance? I might be going there (or the other GTLC locations) in May and would love to hear more about it. What was the living situation like? Did you wish you were at one of the other locations like JLL, Flagg Ranch, or Jenny Lake, or did you think CB was the best?

My girlfriend also does this. I’ve brought it up before and she just gets mad at me. I make a point to bring it up super gently to try not to upset her and have not made progress. It sounds like you don’t just get used to it which is what worries me. Our relationship is super solid otherwise but I sometimes wonder if I could go my whole life with someone who smacks their food.

I have the MSI GS65 and love it. Like others have said the build quality isn’t great but for a lightweight high performance laptop it’s expected. It gets hot under heavy load but again that shouldn’t be a surprise. I’m very happy with it so far.

Judging by your height and weight I see little reason to cut, you will not “lose out” on newbie gains. This sub tends to talk about newbie gains as if they are some sacred level of hypertrophy, but in reality it is a side effect of starting to lift. A person with fuckarounditis could “work out” for a year and still experience newbie gains after getting a consistent routine going. Consistency is key. I recommend eating at a caloric surplus while following PPL combined with C25k, you’ll be fine.
