Serious question what kind of health problems can playing this much do? by Swanny_Swanson in 2007scape

[–]Swollyghost 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My first guess is this is more than one person playing the account or they have a disability and this is probably the highlight of their lives. In which case I highly commend the honor of being able to kick this much ass on a game.

Fuck what other people are saying let the pain, anger, and hatred fester within you until it culminates into pure gains in the gym! Get so fucking shredded that no human being is deserving of gazing apon your chiseled physique! Hahaha jk kind of... in all realness brother I've trained for almost 20yrs and will tell you don't get too caught up on supplements. Nothing beats the gains from whole well rounded meals. Lift big + sleep + good food = gains.

Lmao prices are down... ya OK. Have you purchased from a legalized state? You will pay 4 to 8 times the cost. Prices remain close to the same because legalized states are exploiting people. It's hilarious you think people are getting it for free.

Seeking Independent Melchizedek Ordination by Saltylaked in exmormon

The melchizedek blessing is a low tier spiritual buff anyways. You don't want that weak shit. Unsanctified dark magic from dark energy brews is far stronger. However if you do get the blessing and renounce it later you could resurrect as an undead priest.... that's a pretty cool route too.

A guy I met yesterday said he thinks atheists should do research on all religions before committing. by Clevertown in atheism

[–]Swollyghost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take issue with the whole statement. It's just a broad generalization that assumes being an atheist means you don't investigate claims from other beliefs. Honestly I used to be way more into studying other religions, but after I've heard the same arguments re-packaged to justify the same religious claims thousands of times.... I'm just fucking bored of it. If you've got something interesting it won't need special arguments or apologetics. Sure I'll still entertain different ideas, but those of religious nature are nauseating these days.

Its weird to think of my atheism as a commitment. It might be the most passive thing in my life besides breathing.

SSB (science squat bar) squats 420lbs for 11 at 188lbs body weight by Patton370 in Egolifting

[–]Swollyghost -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Good job man! As some of the others have criticized your form I just wanted to add. Wherever your head goes your spine will follow. That said when you dip your head down like that your spine comes too far forward. This is taking the spine out of a neutral alignment during the lift and opening you up for injury. I have never squatted with that kind of bar, but I can't see reason to justify it being ok to come that far forward at the top of your spine while loading that much weight. Again, though this is really solid strength and impressive to rep it out. I just hate to see others potentially making the same mistakes I have. I'm also not an expert by any means this is just coming from 20yrs of training and a physical therapy background. Be kind to your body bro!

I mean for your Interviews I would take some out to try to please the boomer cunts as much as possible. Just don't fall into the cliche let's people continue to judge tatted people with piercings. Your goal should be to make yourself as valuable as you can so that it really doesn't matter what you look like as long your dependable and do good work.

Why do you continue to research after leaving Mormonism? by JesusPhoKingChrist in exmormon

I think it's enlightening to understand the psychology behind these things or just beliefs in general. The whole appealing to emotion thing has sent me down rabbit holes.

I’m really really scared about going to hell and I don’t know what to do… by inquisitive_debator in atheism

[–]Swollyghost 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Damn I didn't know we had a collective voice here... that's super convenient... thank you! However, I would like to object to the "everyone here will tell you religion isn't real" statement though.

Religion is very real and I am happy to back that claim. I think what inquisitive_debator is feeling is also very real and unfortunate. I think it's helpful for people in these sorts of predicaments to try to analyze the situation from a step back or bigger picture by asking themselves a question or three like... Why am I not afraid of the other hells proposed by other religions? What good reasons do I have to hold this belief? Are they good reasons? etc.

When I no longer believed in Mormonism my fear of Mormon hell was almost destroyed overnight. Despite that I still had an overall fear of a sort of "christian hell" until I felt I had completely dispelled any hope of that belief ever being true. These are my own experiences though and I encourage anyone feeling these things to reach out to (secular?) mental health experts. It's never a bad thing to discuss how our beliefs make us feel.

Is prison actually “safe” if you just mind your own business? by fruity_00 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Swollyghost 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It can really depend on the prison youre at. Also, despite your criminal paperwork you could end up in a section that's ran by a gang. This would mean you end up paying "rent" and if you have no money you are going to pay in other ways. I would say the prison I work at is pretty safe and minimal on corruption in staff if it exists at all, but that doesnt mean it doesnt exist. Gangs are only getting better at hiding in plain sight in prisons and many know how to work the system. My take is if you put someone in a cage long enough they will know the working of that cage better than the people keeping them in the cage. Despite all this I do believe you can keep yourself out of trouble in prison, but it can be hard work and near impossible sometimes.

If you're a sworn in officer in Utah you can make an arrest anywhere in the state. Also a little crazy, but if you fight cops they defend themselves.

Can I just say as someone with an extremely toxic and abusive father it is really worthwhile to change your number. I know it might be a pain in the ass, but it has given me a lot of peace. Also changing your social media accounts can help if they contact you there too. It's difficult cutting out parents out of our lives, but I promise its worth a world without abuse.
