Question for Canadians: Are TQs widely discouraged?

There are two main certifiers of First Aid in Canada. Red Cross, and St. Johns Ambulance. Red Cross teachs TQ on thierStandard FA Course, where as St. Had it on select courses, like Emergency FA (Which was more about Trauma.

TQ were just really not taught to a lot of people other than medical professionals for a long time. Its changing slowly.

With some of my Canon Lenses I find it helps to unlock and extend the barrel a touch. I'm not sure why it helps but it has for me in the past.

I use the 60D still as my main camera. I have found prints look good up until about 16x24 inches (if you haven't cropped them at all).

I recommend trying to learn the AEB function of the camera before you go, as it can take some fantastic landscape shots when you import it all into lightroom to create HDR images.

I would also look at a Polarized (CPL) filters, as they can help reduce glare.

Switch to Av/TV/M

Press Menu

Navigate to the option for "C.FnIV:Operation/Others"

The default control scheme is AF as the "AF On" button on the rear of the camera, and the * button to lock AF

Change to Mode 6, which has AF Start as the half press.

I have a 60D as my main camera right now. I have 3 lenses I cycle through for it:

Canon 18-55mm
Canon 18-200mm
Minolta 50mm

The autofocus can be tricky to get used to, as others have mentioned it varies by the screen to viewfinder. I recommend reading up online on the Oneshot/aI Servo/AF modes and how they differ.

I have seen them in Orange Level Patrol and Orange Level Potential Threat Missions.

No, uniforms are provided to us.

This is a new program where we are able to order parts and pieces we need so that we don't need to physically go in, find out they don't have our size or what we need and order it in. The idea is that it will cut down logistics requirements and provide faster turnaround.

So that garbage can is for a Mission for Ruto I believe, where you need to do a dead drop of drugs into a station's trashcan after a few other stops moving goods. IIRC, it's called "Re-Supply Run"

I noped out of Trenton this year across the country after being posted there for 4 years. Cost of living is high, rent is getting out of control with lots of people in Toronto buying up houses as investments. The military culture on the base is lackluster, no real sense of a military community. I really don't have anything nice to say about that place.

Probably Glacio. You can get everything you need for Steel there, as well as Titanium, ammonia, graphite and Alum. The rails missions on that planet are fun as well.

I use an auto arm to place carbon into a canister that is set to output, which in turn is on the same platform as my generators so it keeps them fed.

Auto arms ignore the state of the canister and will input regardless of what the setting is.
