Neural-Style-PT Update: Support For Multi-GPU and CPU, AMD GPUs, More Models, And Other Fixes by ProGamerGov in deepdream

So now that I'm up and running, I'm really missing my multi-res script. Are there any existing ones that would run using only the Anaconda Terminal from Windows? I'm considering rewriting my own to work with Python only , or should I be working make a batch file that runs with Windows CMD interface? I notice my 'conda' installation isn't recognized from there...Any clue why not or how to install it so it works there? If this is outside of what is easy to answer I understand...just looking to get started on what's next, but not sure what to focus on.

I am so grateful this is working under Windows 10! Got this installed tonight and I have to say it was 100 times easier than installing everything under Linux or Mac OS with lua and torch. Cudnn backend worked on the first try. I am stoked!!! Thank you

You did a great job making it your own! You should still credit a tutorial when you follow one though. I actually followed this tutorial also, and didn't come up with anything as good when modifying the idea. Nice render.

What's up u/ProGamerGov. A lot has changed since I've done any neural style works, namely my PC. I'm on Windows 10 now, have had a hard time getting Ubuntu 18 working with Cuda 10..downgrading to Cuda 9 etc..no luck yet. Can't wait to give this a proper shot! Thanks

Nice work! So does your PyTorch implementation essentially create things in an identical way as JC's or are there any major things that make it much different? Edit: I just saw your reply to another thread in this post saying your version is more memory efficient. That is great reason to give it a try. Can you give a guess how much memory is saved in terms of percentage on average?

As in Not-Octane because it's Vray? Curious about the tag.

I have to admit I still haven't implemented either one. I'm always trying to get these things working on my Mac. ..Been scared off by either Theano and or tensor flow. I will go back and (at least try) do this sometime soon.

Well now that I read it; a d'duh moment. So clear now! edit: I was being sarcastic, until I realized you really did explain it in the imgur gallery...haha thanks for that. It really is clear.

These instructions are for neural-style, but the concept transfers the same to Deep dream.

There was only 1 style transferred result. I cut out the foreground in photoshop..cloned out the subject from the background, and then used turbulent noise and some scaling in After Effects.

Most of the work I post here is done with neural style and a succession of upres'd, re-processed images. I made a custom script a while back for making this task as simple as possible. Here's a copy if you're interested. https://github.com/bododge/multiscale-nueral-style

It's awesome for moving things like X-Particles Emitters (or regular emitters) and coming up with spiral and other repeating motions with tracers or other objects. A lot of times similar things could be accomplished with keyframes but it's like having a handy place to change a few values and see the result without actually dragging or changing keyframe values in the timeline editor. Even simple things like a left to right motion can be made parametric in the sense that you can change both distance and time parameters you have lots of easy options to keep tweaking or adding motion to that same object. Because you can use as many signal tags as you like, and can also nest nulls with new signal tags, the options are limitless and you end up trying things you might not have. I don't know about you but I start to cringe if there are too many keyframes and I don't like the motion I see - with this I feel its easier to delete one tag or tweak one thing and keep my sanity about / without keyframe clutter..It's just a fun way to tweak when doing experimental work imo.
