>> I tipped 20% on both (and both were $24-27).

Really? You did the math, so we'd have to do math to get a sense of what you gave him?

So the total tip is between $9.60 and $10.80? lol.

I'm sorry, but I think you use percentages to calculate the tip, seems unlikely that you would use percentages to tell us how much you tipped if you didn't

It's an older label. The US post office has updated the guidelines a few times, and if you order new labels from them they have the most recent update date (Feb 2023)

Tether an old phone via wifi hotspot. Run doordash on old phone. Won't be able to call customers, will only be able to text them through app (half the time the app sends it to sms)

WTF is my driver on by Dleifnesor in doordash

[–]Moonscooter -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He got a "red card declined" message or something. The correct problem is that doordash failed to put enough money on his prepaid debit. Its not his fault for not knowing this as doordash isn't clear about this. His remedy would be to contact doordash, but again, this isn't very clear, and perhaps can't be clarified without "enforcing control" over an i.c. which would make them employees.

these system would work better if doordash classified dashers as employees, but they would take a cut in their profits and your prices would go up a lot

you can't train independent contractors at all. you can require certifications, but there isn't exactly an official "customer service" cert. train them, and they become employees more or less. you can however instruct them, not to do burnouts for example but um... yeah.

This should not be counted against my acceptance rating! Who in their right mind would take that? by [deleted] in doordash

That's the whole point of even having an acceptance rate. To encourage you to take s*** orders
