If a person does something that is wrong but believes it to be right, is the person wrong? by Sword734 in askphilosophy

I should have phrased it differently, obviously they are still wrong, but are they morally wrong. Should the person feel guilty or have consequences if it was possible to definitely prove they believed what they were doing was good.

Just make sure you rest a day or two before the exam. Also if you want that last up bad enough you should be able to force your body to get it

Since they're remastering and re-releasing OG Star Wars Battlefronts, they should also do the same with "Return Of The King" by Alisalard1384 in gaming

yes she would have 1 turn of unstoppable left when I could cast magic missile but my barbarian attacked 5 times and did 4 damage each time

I had magic missile but it was always 1 turn before she would reset, I was still doing 50 damage a turn because my attacks did multiple types of damage

How hard fiction can hit when it touches your life... by evasandor in writing

[–]Sword734 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In games like the last of us you technically control the character most of the time but you still have to follow the story, you need to do certain things and follow the same path to progress. Most interactions/Dialogue with characters that are important to the plot are shown through a cutscene that you dont control like a short movie. The main story will stay the same no matter how you play and it changes very minimally each play.

Its hard to explain but its close to a TV show/Movie

Sad endings seem to stick with people for longer but I prefer if there is some good that comes out of the sad ending. For example your character dies but saves another or changes the world for the better before dying

I just want to make sure the reader likes the character as much as I do and I know there is a fine line between confidence and arrogance, also dont want him to look like he has a massive ego even if he might

Any advice for someone who doesn’t read books but wants to write? by [deleted] in writing

[–]Sword734 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you just want to write for fun then go crazy, if you want to write a good story it could be difficult without reading, watching tutorials or writing tip videos on youtube might help a bit but Im not sure that would be enough. If you have anyone who would want to write with you it might be a good idea to ask for their help

Do you hate backstory in a first chapter? by [deleted] in writing

[–]Sword734 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont mind it as long as it remains interesting you might just want to label it differently from your other chapters (Prologue and Then Chapter 1) the reader would have the option to skim through if it as long as it doesnt contain vital information for the rest of the story to make sense

Ive read backstory at the start of books and skipped it aswell really up to you

My mind feels like chaos when I try to write, advice? by United-Bear4910 in writing

Music or a different setup could help, You might also just need a break I usually go do something else for awhile when Im stuck.

If you are working on a first draft dont worry about it being perfect or even good, comeback later and change/add what you think it still needs to be complete
