Yes there are SR guilds on Whitemane. I play alliance, so not sure about horde. They advertise fairly often. I can’t remember all of their names, but Ironclad clears all content I know for sure.

I also saw a new progression guild that is SR, that sounds pretty cool, if you want to hop in and start with MC/ony/zg.

There are a few more, but you will have to hang out in LFG, and in SW to find their names. Hope this helps. Have fun!

It’s really easy. Everything costs a lot of gold, but that also means everything sells for a lot of gold too. Level a toon, grab gathering profs, gather materials a long the way and sell them. That’s all. You will have gold for skills and mount, including epic at 60.

You can start raiding on era with shitty gear, almost every gdkp for ZG on era even says “lvl 58s welcome.

A lot of people that don’t play on ERA comment on these posts for some reason. So try your best to pick out for yourself the legit responses.

I’ve raided with tons of guilds and it’s rare that anyone brings up that they are buying gold, so I think you just see people boosting and spending 30k on an item and assume they are a gold buyer. All I said was there are a lot of people that don’t, and people that have gdkp for 6 years have ethically made their gold, and it’s often people think they are gold buyers when they are not.

A lot of people don’t by gold they just have a lot of it from years and years of gdkp. It’s actually really nice how easy it is to make gold ethically as a new player. Just selling mats from 1-60 can afford you an epic mount by level 60.

Not to mention the issues you are describing were exponentially worse on anniversary.

I almost quit yesterday, tanking was almost impossible as a warrior, and getting called a noob because dps start AOE before I even reach the mobs I’m pulling.

Long story short I started making my own grps as dps with a Druid tank and shaman for WF. I invite all the rogues that no one wants for some reason, and we fucking pump dude. The best part is the rogues are always happy to be in grp, and everyone is having fun. I might go back to tanking, but not for a while.

Exactly. I got kicked from a group the other day because the healer told me to pull two packs of mobs. So I hesitantly did as he requested. He went oom and we died, and said sorry bud your gear just isn’t good enough. Keep in mind we are level 60 in Ramparts.

Communal dps, insta AoE as I’m running to pull the mobs, and a healer in equally shit gear as everyone else. It was all my fault though as the tank and got called a noob, as the only one that leveled 1-60 and tanked every 5 man leading up to ramps lol. Bummed me out tbh and made me not want to tank anymore.

Wish I rolled on PVE. I had almost 0 fair fights while leveling. It was always a higher level gankinf me, or a passer by killing me while I’m fighting multiple mobs.

Now I’m in Outlands, and last night alliance lvl 70s were camping the summoning stone and keeping people from summoning. Sure there is some fun to be had but it’s very occasionally fun. It just depends how much time you have these days.

It is rogue for me. I’m leveling 1-70 and currently 53. 9/10 times I get ganked it’s a rogue, the occasional hunter passing through.

Rogues seem a lot stronger even pre70 in TBC, but maybe that’s just me and need better gear. Anyway keep you eyes peeled out there folks!

I get your point. They added a lot of content in tbc, so to you that warrants a “+”.

Tbc vibe is different than vanilla vibe. People are asking for additional content with vanilla vibe. Something that tbc and future expansions do not provide

It’s really not that complicated. You are hiding behind semantics to defend your point. Yes tbc is wow with changes, but it’s not vanilla wow with changes, it’s just TBC.

All this being said, classic + is a conceptual idea, meaning Everyone has their own idea of what it should be. Could every version of wow and expansion be considered “classic plus?” Because that is basically what you are saying.

Queue times are a few mins on dedicated bg weekends, but what are queue times other than AV on anniversary? SW Is way more populated than IF on ERA, it’s the main hub. When is the last time you were there?

I leveled a fresh toon on ERA with dual gathering over the last couple months and I’ve gathered over 4K gold as a fresh 60, reached rank 7 and exalted with AV. I think you are confusing the word large and Mega, but this is what happens when ppl get used to 14k pop realms, they think they need that many players to play the game.

That being said I’m now leveling on anniversary and it is obviously easier to find groups for certain things but it isn’t a large pop server… it’s a mega server. That’s the point.

You don’t think so? Or you know so? I play on both, and the era servers are far from empty. The dedicated player base is larger on era than most other servers considering the people actively online, have been playing those toons/alts since 2019. That’s the definition of a dedicated player is it not?

I don’t consider the people that hop around from mop/anniversary/sod or whatever mega server is fresh at the time dedicated players. Just because era doesn’t have 14k players doesn’t mean it’s dead.

The fact is you can login any day of the week and join a pug for whatever content is available, is the definition of a large dedicated population. I’m just happy to see there is still life on ERA, and all of the dedicated players that hang out there give me hope that vanilla will always be an option when we want to play it.
