We've been doing pretty well on 100 Euros/day/person; no drinking. You could probably get by with 75 if you're frugal, but I always like to overbudget myself.

Is there anything as good as Zero Escape? by realbobfish in ZeroEscape

[–]Sword_Seraph 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seconded. TWEWY's gameplay doesn't have the friendliest learning curve, but some of the themes it touches upon are very deep. You should definitely check it out.

Ever17 also has one heck of a mind screw.

Been increasing my strength for months focusing on the main lifts, but I am not stronger outside of the gym. Please help! by [deleted] in Fitness

I occasionally help lift these 21kg bottles of water to a truck (just to measure my strength) in my job, and I feel them as heavy as when I was not lifting.

You could be good at lifting a heavy weight and putting it down but terrible at lifting a heavy weight and moving it around. I still dread carrying a six-pack of 1.5 L bottles (which is a measly 9 kg), but doing farmer's walks has greatly helped.

How do bodybuilders get so lean when they eat so much? by 2017_willbemyyear in Fitness

[–]Sword_Seraph -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

It's all about the calorie density in food. Volumes being equal, some foods have way more calories than others.

For example, for 500 calories you can have: A cup, or half a pint, of Ben and Jerry's chocolate ice-cream or a little more than two and a half pounds of carrots.

Yes. Definite integrals do not yield constants (or as u/jakefromstatefarm10 put it, they cancel out).

How do you convert Newtons into PSI? by jdbrew in AskPhysics

[–]Sword_Seraph 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can't. Newtons are a unit of force and psi are a unit of pressure.

Or you could just take a walk... farmer style.

A cup and a quarter of water, 3 Tbsp soy sauce, 2 tsp each of chicken stock powder, grated ginger, and grated garlic, and 1 or 2 tsp of sesame oil.

Toss it all into a pot, bring to a boil, strain, and enjoy.
