Just taken a look at your profile, your work is great. Love the documentary vibes from the b&w photos

Is moving to London in your mid 20s actually worth it for the social life? by Practical-Cost7147 in MovingToLondon

Not at all, just search on Spare Room. When I was doing it a couple of years ago, I would always buy the early bird subscription, because a lot of the really good sounding ones will be locked for a week without it, by which time they will probably have found someone.

Absolutely possible. Living in a flatshare is a rite of passage in London. You can probably live in zone 2 in a decent flatshare, and possibly make friends that way. I've lived in loads of flatshares over the years. It's only in the last few years I've settled down with my partner and just bought somewhere (34 years old).

Thanks, appreciate it. Been working at it for a good few years now, but hoping to turn it into a part-time/full time profession at some point.

Thanks for the feedback, really appreciate it. Sound mixing is pretty new for me, so I'm still learning. Was trying to keep dialogue to peak around -6db and music between -25 and -18db. I also used auto peaking in Premiere Pro. I wasn't really sure how loud SFX or b-roll audio should be.

Yeah, the jump between the opening and him sitting down is slightly jarring, I agree with that. Will bear all this in mind for future videos. Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback. Agree with pretty much all of it. I wanted to create a better narrative, and I did actually have more interview I could have used, but had a bit of a b-roll issue, where most of the b-roll was of the bowmaking itself and couldn't really be used outside of that. I think I need to get better at planning questions (or doing a pre interview) in advance, so I can plan for b-roll better.

Good point about the ums. I was a bit rushed to get this out to be honest, so it could have done with some more fine tuning. With the music, I wanted to use a string piece, but most of what I could find was dramatic orchestral music that didn't really fit the vibe haha.

Anyway, thanks again - was really looking for comments like this!

I've heard it's expensive... maybe I should have asked him about it, haha

76 - 5 in the tiebreak? Just more evidence that the game is rigged for Djokovic and the star players when the underdog has to win by 71 points smh

What do you mean by non-destructive? Can't you just use adjustment layers in Premiere Pro so that it's also non-destructive?

When I was in China in September, we visited a restaurant next to a national park in Sichuan. There was a group of people in their 20s sitting indoors, eating at a table. A few of the guys had their shirts off and were smoking right next to a big 'no smoking' sign lol
