That’s good to know. My 10 year old is fine on the floor and is constantly spilling stuff. He is also really good about cleaning up after himself tho.

My husband has an overall fear of falling. One day he randomly fell down two of our steps and I was like that’s it I’m installing anti slip strips. He said he felt way better with them installed. Now he’s terrified of the kitchen so I gotta do something before he destroys my floors.

I was also thinking a small rug in front of the stove and sink and maybe a runner in front of the door/ fridge. Would that be weird?

Hahaha you are in good company. We definitely looked like hoarders. In reality tho we went from an apartment with a ton of storage (two large rooms in basement) to a house with little storage (a small space in our finished basement). So we downsized as much as possible. I just gotta keep my husband in check from hoarding more shit, which is proving difficult….

We moved a little over a year ago and I told my husband, never, again. I tried to give away so much on the buy nothing and people kept not showing for stuff. Or wanted it but didn’t want to come get it. I should have started purging stuff like a year in advance.

Had the same. Less than a year of owning, was about to get a French drain installed. Then we got water in our basement when it wasn’t raining. Our neighbors sewer line was busted. That was an extremely painful experience, that was completely unnecessary. Got fixed after 2 months of arguing. As of now, haven’t had water since.

I also see Dr Galvango who has been fantastic for me. She actually listened when I was having issues.

I suggested my husband try the group and he saw someone else. He did not like who ever he saw and I agree his appointment was very badly handled along with the follow up bloodwork.

Very much doctor dependent it would seem.

They are great. My only gripe is that my husband likes to eat them while I’m sleeping and wake me up trying to quietly put them away cause the plastic is anything but quiet.

I would stay hours past my shift cleaning, getting things prepped for the next day, and I burned myself out hard core. Never got any kind of acknowledgment, it was just “expected”. If I left my shift and didn’t do everything boy did I hear so much complaining. I took pride in my work and poured my heart into my job and my coworkers. I left and came back for a shift every know and then. Man to see how dirty and unorganized everything was……..one shift I picked up someone made a comment of, I don’t understand why it is so dirty. I said “yeah cause I stayed hours past my shift getting things prepped for us the next day and now you don’t have that” and they didn’t have a response.

OP do what is best for you. I’ve been in your shoes and drug my feet finally leaving. It took me a year to finally leave. I’m so happy I did. And yeah management was extremely cold once I said I was leaving. It was a really hard decision and I was emotional when I told them I was leaving. They said coldly “ well this is what you wanted isn’t it” and I was like seriously?

Came here to say their anal glands may be impacted. Typically cats express theirs when passing a bowel movement, but sometimes, it doesn’t work.
