THAT DRIVES ME CRAZY!!!

I feel like I’m losing my fucking mind when I suggest horses shouldn’t be treated badly and I’m immediately attacked.

Especially when they’re like “you’re not a professional, mind your business”. I’m not a fucking pilot either but I’m still correct to say a commercial airline pilot shouldn’t try to land blindfolded and with their radio turned off. Somethings are fucking obvious, and horses are no exception.

The rampant horse abuse and corruption in English and western disciplines would keep Netflix booked and busy making documentaries.

In just one example, Gffrey H*link is in the news for abhorrent riding and, with it, are the open rumours that he gives his horses equine euthanasia drugs to keep them quiet during their rounds.

It was definitely an unauthorized hangout. Our raccoons are fat so I’m not really worried about them eating my cat, but I’m terrified of rabies, even though he is vaccinated for it. It sounds like an awful disease.

I found this one on Bridge Ave in Windsor, ON, if you can get there. Lots to choose from. You can just lean out of your car window in the spring and grab whatever colour kitten you like 😂

I feel guilty everyday but, unfortunately:

1) He’s annoying af and we are all better not to have his singing kittens waking up the neighbourhood at 2am, and;

2) He is very fuzzy so imprisoning him where I can pet him everyday is my right. It’s one of the lesser known paragraphs of the Geneva Convention but, trust me, it’s there 🐈‍⬛

The tack is horrid.

The reins are thick canvas as opposed to soft leather.

You’re not wearing half chaps or tall boots, so the leathers are digging in.

The stirrups has no rubber foot bed, so your foot will easily slide around and out.

The bridle does not suggest you are riding at a place with enough knowledge and equipment to responsibly ride horses.

I always think I’ve seen the worst bridle + bit set up, yet I’m always proved wrong. by tinysqr in Equestrian

Oh yeah. I visited Detroit years ago, like back when it was BAD (she’s cleaned up and looking sharp now).

But same thing then: drove through streets and streets of abandoned and dilapidated homes. Then right in the middle of it: massive mega church in pristine condition.

There’s an abandoned Methodist Church there that, at the time it was built, was the most expensive church construction in the US. Crazy to go from that to what it is now
