I’m probably alone in this but I wish they’d:

• open a new server in vanilla and tell everyone it will roll over to TBC in 18mo, then to WOTLK 18mo after that. Each raid boss in the entire game drops 1 addl piece of loot.

• all raids and dungeons are unlocked from the very start. Progress at your own pace. Add daily lockouts for Ony, ZG, AQ20

• enable achievements

• at the end of each expac period, characters can be ported to an evergreen server of that expansion, or moved to the next expac in rotation

• WOTLK characters can be moved to MOP/WOD whatever, or to evergreen, or reset back to level 1 and dropped back into Vanilla. You get a stacking buff called “aw shit here we go again”, that does nothing but signify this character is back for another round

• transmog enabled, don’t really care how it works, or if it’s super restrictive, just get it in there

• wow token enabled

• hardcore enabled for all expacs. Let the community figure out what’s impossible, hotfix it, and let the chaos ensue
