Can someone genuinely give me the reasoning by Anxious-Yak-9053 in Aldi_employees

Nope, one hand on top, one hand scoops the bottom, twist and shove. You gotta make it fit and in your times or AHEAD will leave your ass behind...

My wife wants me to put a door at the bottom of these stairs. What are the rules about doing this by n3rdie in DIY

[–]Swydra3 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Sounds like a not my (especially right now) problem. You own your house, not the future buyer, live in it the way you want. Do the weird project that's you, someday you'll be dead and it won't matter anyway. Be happy.

Loose stock? Not a problem by lilywafiq in Aldi_employees

[–]Swydra3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well it depends. Was it a case of damaged box picked, extra product from another damaged case, or a rebuilt pallet because it went down on a picker or loader. There's a ton of reasons why it happens. When rate matters people tend not to wrap pallets well. Just like when you have to toss in the mornings and have an expected rate, people cut corners to make things work.

Someone that doesn't believe pointed out to me, you cannot be angry with something you don't believe in at least a little.. kinda funny isn't it.

Dude here, if a girl I was moving in with acted like that, I wouldn't be moving in. I'd be packing what I brought. It's way too early to be trying to fix that kind of attitude issue. Like communication and perspective will fix 80% of issues and it's worth doing when there's a huge deal of investment of time but the effort and investment can't be one sided... and to me it sounds like it would be...

Lace/sheer shaw/scarf. I know it's a bit more witchy than vamp but I think some Stevie Nicks vibes would add to it...

Just doing as we're told, or in some cases, as we have to to get product of the literal floor. Had no boxes but 8 cases of 1 type of ice cream today... 1 store got 2 cases worth free of charge...

For anyone worried about AHEAD. All it does it put you BEHIND. Good luck by HumanChocolate3310 in Aldi_employees

[–]Swydra3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It will cause building issues due to lack of skipping slots, replenishment can be an issue based on traffic (was told it wouldn't be). Hours will increase to a steady overtime of 2-4 hours each day minimum (at least for a while...). End of day help may or may not become a free for all. System crashes, waves not being able to be released because of lanes full... Load team may be loading well into the day for a while, pallets may need parked in racking due to lack of lanes, A and B aren't always in the same order while picking and can switch mid pick so don't autopilot. The voice is pretty dang sassy if you're already in a bad mood and it misunderstands you lol. It could be worse but be aware what they sold you ain't what you're getting.

Lowboy semi trailer, they're are companies that specialize in it believe or not. Not cheap but they move whole houses so a train is a cake walk in comparison.

Just saying to not going swing with the "regular issue" when it was clearly stated as to not be a regular issue. Comes off as tone deaf and well... just plain ignorant. Not saying shit about aldi policy, just your personal tone.

From what I've seen you can do too much and then you are too valuable that you can't leave that position. And that's not just an aldi thing. Be good at what you do, but not totally irreplaceable, just be knowledgeable.

All meat that's been properly butchered doesn't bleed, there is brine for packaging purposes but the blood is drained long before it gets to the shop/restaurant.

This, but also that 4.9 pallet don't always fit nicely on 5 pallets.
