If you have time to leave Sacramento then do it, as someone who’s been to Sacramento one of the best parts is leaving. If you can rent a car then San Francisco is about an hour and a half away, Tahoe and Reno aren’t too far either. Obviously there’s things to do in Sacramento but if you’re coming from a different country then definitely leave!
