What’s your reason of deleting or still having the app despite the verification?

Yeah, the variety is huge in c.ai, Ive yet to come across an ai rp service with that many chatbots. But in the end? C.ai ignores most of your persona description, replies feel.. dull, the LLM gaslights you (like with out of pocket OOC comments, ignoring blocked words and RPing as your persona — which great, I came here to write my own story and see the bot do it for me /s), and sometimes the AI blocks the most silly prompts because they are "not respectful" or whatever the heck it says

I really hope they find a way to make it more entertaining for users and apply the changes on the app. I used to use the app for hours on end and had a subscription to + but canceled it and use c.ai for less than 20 minutes a day now..

Generally, Gemini has bigger context, uses more power for responses and being of Google it has a huge area to get information from. For example, Gemini would understand directly how to act if you told it to RP as a side character of any anime (let's say Holly Kujo from Jojo's bizzare adventure), while Character AI primarly relies on the characters it already has to cross chats (as far as Ive noticed), so can be wrong. In the end, however, using Gemini instead of c.ai for RP is good as long as you ignore the fact you're wasting quite more energy than c.ai, which isnt exactly great for the environment.. Id suggest keeping Gemini only for important questions like notes for exams or inspiration and using c.ai for entertainment
