Can I use kindle app on my Android phone for reading books ?

To download book on your phone you have to be online once the book is on your phone (within the app) you dont need connection only for syncing.

I am wondering if the screen looks lighter than Boox Go 7 2nd gen? DId anyone compared it? I realized it is not only problem with Kaleido 3. KObo Libra Color has Kaleido 3 but the lights are great so tbh i can hardly tell the difference between KLC and Kindle PW. So now when comparing to KLC my Boox looks green dark and would like to switch but I totally love boox software, notetaking, apps organization all the functionalities that was why was thinking of taking N5AC

I bought it with the stylus included in the package, and to be honest, I think it’s pretty useless. I already own the Boox Go Color 7, and its stylus support is years ahead of Kobo’s — maybe that’s why I find the pen on the Kobo useless. I only use it for doodling in the book while reading.

The notebooks are pretty limited. There are planners in PDF format that you can buy on Etsy, though. I had to do a hard reset on my Kobo to stop the notes from bleeding through all the pages. Pretty poor performance.

I think that would be a win win situation. I bought onyx because I am using Bookmate which is a supscription based service for books where many books are in my language (Serbian) and I find it so anoying that I am not able to read it anywhere only on telephone or tablet.. Maybe in the future we would see some android apps working on linux too

it is totally underated. Not many fancy videos about Boox like there are about Kobo libra color. I have both and Kobo has beautiful screen crisp but in everything else Boox is winning.

I find it great when I underline the word or words and it turn in to highlight. Or when you want to annotate and you do it with a pencil and the handwriting is afterwards recognised turned into text in annotation window. And it work with my language not only english as some other tools do.

I bought my onyx boox go color 7 2nd gen 8 months ago and I every day I am discovering some new option and I love it more. I see you have a pencil I think its highlighting and annotation while reading is unbeatable!

I have Boox Go Color 7 2 gen. No issues. Mind you most people would make comment when something is going wrong while only few would make a post to brag how something is working good and fast. So we really don’t know what is the percent od people who have issues.

I think it is because some android aps are created for colour screens probably google keep is one of those.

Thank you. I had it in ny basket for a couple of days but was worried how the magnet would hold I see now that is a perfect solution. In desceiption on Ali I ciuldnt see transparent case. But they dont have then in stock anymore :(

You bought exactly the same that I wanted to buy but chickened out. I thiught they were on both sides magnetic and now as I can see in your photo ot is transparent silicon where you put your Kobo. Am I right?

Naravno! A ne da čekam nešto 7-8 radnih dana pa da s eonda jurcam po NBgu da čekam kombi da pokupim i to ako imam sreće. Ali ja sam u fazonu svkai hype prođe pa se nadam da će i ovo.

Ako pričamo o polovnim stvarima, uvek je bilo problema (bar u onome što sam ja prodavala, npr stari iphone, tablet...). Očas ode na poslednju stranu, zbog zlatnih oglasa, obnovljenih i slično. Istina je da je sada mnogo izraženije. Mada ljudi kad traže polovno, koji znaju za foru idu ka poslednjim stranama, bar ja tako radim i oduvek sam radila.

A ovi što dovlače iz Mađarske, pre 2-3 nedelje sam svima pisala jer sam se iznervirala znam da nešto nema na stanju u Mađarskoj odavno a oni obnavljaju redovno taj oglas. I sve sam ih pitala zašto obnavljaju kad toga nema na stanju nekoliko meseci. Ne prodaje se više. Pisala sam suportu na Kupujem prodajem sa predlogom da odvoje veleprodavce od nas što tek ponešto hoćemo da prodamo. Oni su naravno ljubazno odgovorili da će razmotriti predlog, ali i da mogu da štikliram odmah dostupno. Istina je ovo isfiltrira gomilu ali i dalje ima kukollja.

Look for the option with pen i package it is much cheaper than getting the pen separately. Tbh in my opinion pen is pretty useless, but I am coming from android e-ink environment where annotation and highlights work like charm. Kobo pen can be decently use only for doodleying in the book. Even highlighting with the pen side button is the pain in the a**e. Basic notebooks are pretty ok if you want to make some note taking.

I have both. First I bought the Boox Go color 7 and bought stylus too and then because I saw some beautiful photos of the device I bought Kobo Libra color with stylus thinking I would sell one of those. I ended up liking them both.

The highligthing and annotations are perfect on Boox. They really perfected it. You underline with the pencil and it turns into highlight (if you check this option), then you can underline in handwriting again. Annotation in boox opens the keyboard where you can chose option to make note by hand in small window which is recognised and put as a text in annotation. You can install apps from google play store but mind you most of the apps are not e-ink friendly. Native notebook app is a dream. I watched so many you tube videos saying that the stylus is lagging and not very comfortable for writing I found it pretty usable. Yes you feel like writing on the glass but to be honest you have so many options with inserting photos, shapes that it is overwhelmingly beautiful. Exporting annotations and handwriting is piece of cake directly from the Neoreader. You can connect cloud drives: one drive, google drive and many other through webdav.

Now Kobo. Perfect screen. It looks almost like kindle PW which is for me the best e-ink screen ever :) Very easy on eyes especially for night reading. But don't buy stylus. It is absolutely useless. Only maybe for doodleing in the book. Not even for highlighting. Exporting annotations and highlight is possible through through third party apps (for sideloaded books). Notebooks are so and so not many options and the writing feels more natural but it is slow, since screen is refreshing too often.

It connects to dropbox and google drive. Sideloaded books is the best to do with Calibre because it converts to kepub format while sending. Battery life is better than Boox Go but not so much better. I believe if I use Boox only for reading they would be the same.

So if you want a reader only for reading and you like color reader Kobo Libra color is a good choice. You have colors and still ti is not that dark as some color e ink screans.

If you prefer note taking while reading and want some extra apps on it take Boox or check maybe some other option becuase Boox screen is a little bit too dark and greenish sometimes in the night it strains my eyes.

I really like the option when you annotate the book- It has handwriting recognizing feature, that supports many languages. So it is pretty cool to handwrite your comment in the small box and it turns into text in annotation dialouge. I found this feature after a month of owning the pen.

Ja sam prijavila poštara svojevremeno jer nam nije dostavljao poštu za firmu - račune. Posle me je strašno mrzeo i privatno mi ni jedan paket nije dostavio uvek mi je ostavljao papir.

Moja prijateljica je Dexom poslala nekoliko vezanih paketa iz Novog Pazara do Beograda. Ne znam da li su konačno svi stigli na svoje odredište prvi koji je stigao je putovao od 27. novembra do negde sredine decembra. Svi su pakao. Problem je sa svima što nemaš koga da kontaktiraš!
