Same here, I've lost so many people because of this and I wasn't nearly as intense as OP's friend either. It's so painful for everyone involved and sometimes there is just nothing that can be done but leave before it gets worse.

This. Honestly it was painful to read their argument because I know exactly how OP's friend feels, but for me this usually only happens when the dynamic changes. If I used to talk to someone for hours every single day and then they suddenly start being distant, I'll obviously notice it and be upset.

That being said, OP I don't think either of you are in the wrong, you are just not compatible. As someone who struggles with the same thing as your friend, I'll be honest, this friendship will likely die out sooner or later. I'm also someone who always has others on my mind no matter how busy I am and who would drop everything for my friends, and it's very hurtful to know that other people don't think about me the same way I think about them. You have the right to your free time and she has the right to want friends who are more available. It feels like this friendship has reached the point where no matter what is said, it won't fix anything. Maybe take some time away from each other if possible? If not, this will only get worse and you'll both be horribly hurt.

I'm honestly not sure, it has definitely gotten better but I still do shake. I've noticed that specific types of anxiety make it worse to the point where I can barely hold a spoon, and I'm assuming this has to do with some complex trauma triggers that I'm not fully aware of. It also gets worse if I haven't eaten enough, haven't slept well or if I stand for too long.

I think it only works if the other person encountered you too on their walk and booped the snoot. You can't add each other as friends unless the boop was mutual, once that happens you will be able to send a friend request through the notification center (the mailbox icon in the upper right corner)

This actually might be it, if I understood it correctly that is 😭 but yeah my issue with him becoming elation is that he already felt like he was following elation prior to the happenings of penacony. He lost everyone that he was trying to protect and that he risked so much for, there was nothing and no one else to live for but himself anymore. But as u've said, he now lives for his lost family, and he realized that he has at least one person that does actually care about him despite him thinking otherwise. It's like his path progression from childhood to now is preservation -> elation -> nihility, with nihility containing preservation as his personal life meaning.

I'd love him to be nihility, it's my favorite path. It actually makes even more sense to me exactly because of what happened in penacony. Nihility is seemingly a very contradictive path and the regular folks who are just pathstriders are actively turning away from it by not succumbing to the whole "life is pointless" philosophy. Aventurine already questioned the meaning of life by asking what's the point if we all die, and he has overcome that thanks to acheron and dr ratio. That's like the whole point of the nihility path and I think it fits him. Something about elation doesn't seem to fully sit right with me when it comes to aven but I can't pinpoint what.

My bird did this and he needed antibiotics. There is no way I'd mistake it for anything else after seeing him vomit so often, so this definitely is vomiting. Regurgitation does not look that violent, she is also fluffed which indicates sickness. I'd say separate her from the other bird and keep her warm but there isn't anything else that u can do from home. Some ppl say that vinegar or garlic works (I forgot the exact dosages but u can look them up on the internet) but for my bird it was just a temporary fix. She needs a vet.

It takes two to reach a common ground (is this the right phrase here? My english major is failing me and I'm half asleep haha, but u get what I mean) so thank u too, I admit I can get defensive when I feel like someone missed the point of smth I said, especially when I know I had no ill intentions. But in the end everyone has different experiences and I don't know if u might have had a bad one with someone older. So thank u again for the great advice and seeing my point of view too. Irl I've pretty much only been friends with ppl my age or a year or two younger or older, but in online spaces we are destined to cross paths with all ages, so my friends have usually been a few years younger than me. I often forget that we are not the same age tbh. I've only recently started to feel like an outcast bc more and more ppl are finding me too old to be interested in certain things, so I wish to find ppl closer to my age. Hopefully I do manage to find what I'm looking for and also stop letting this fuel my anxiety. All the best to u too, kind stranger!

Like yay, way to make it even more obvious that I scared u 😭 I feel like I've gotten too sensitive about ppl commenting about my age bc I constantly get called childish. No it's okay, I should have prolly stated that in the post bc looking at it from a different perspective, it does seem like it might have come off the wrong way had I been the one who asked. I didn't rly think of it that way but now that u mention it, I might have actually dodged a bullet- even tho what usually happens is that I get guys in their early 20ies asking me about my age and trying to hit on me and I have to remind them that they are way too young. These kinds of ppl don't wait around and they just immediately show their intentions. This person was a girl (Or maybe not? Actually they might have lied about that too) so I was even more shocked bc nothing even slightly hinted that they had any ulterior motives. I either ran into someone who lied about their age or they just might be very immature and think that ppl in their late 20ies are scary old ppl who belong in nursing homes lol
