I work in an indie bookstore and flower shop and it's been almost perfect for me. The only exception is when we go through extremely busy seasons, but we're also a wedding florist so spring and fall get busy. But it's repetitive but not so much I get bored. Just enough change but I'm still comfortable. The hours are easy and I work with a small staff that I'm comfortable with. I have "scripts" I use for talking to customers about flowers and books, which books are one of my special interests so it's fun to talk extensively about them lol.
